"It was my second visit to Foothill, and the experience was just as nice as the first. A friend and dined early on Friday night before heading up to the Sierra Madre Playhouse, where we are front of house volunteers from time to time. We were worried about having time to enjoy our dinner within only about a 75 minute time span. I ordered the split pea with bacon soup, and it was delicious. My entree was the salmon salad, and it also was excellent. My friend ordered the large (and it WAS large! bone in pork chop with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Enjoyed it immensely and took about half of the chop home. We ended up having time for dessert, so we split an order of creme brulee with raspberr...

Our server, Tamara, was very attentive and had good recommendations on appetizers, entrees, and cocktails. Food was very tasty and interior was comfy and hip!

My big problem was that The Foothill restaurant did not honor my reservation I made with Open Table. Perhaps you need to have a conversation with them. Although they did seat us in the restaurant, Management didn’t seem to care much that I had a confirmed reservation. Nor did they call and tell me there was a problem. Thank goodness there were plenty of tables available in the restaurant at that time because it could have been a really big problem.

The food was very tasty, sliders and fish tacos (which were a bit lite on the fish . t he service was e xcellent. We ordered a glass of wine during happy hour and a VERY small pour was served to us. We figured it was he happy hour pour and we thought that was ok. Later in the meal, we ordered another glass of the same wine, same size and it was almost twice the price of the happy hour glass. That didn 't set very well. We were seated at a table where the sun shown directly in our eyes they need to get some outside shades and fix that. I might go back, but it probably would not be any time soon.
