"I discovered Freebirds in the early '90 's, years before they came to Austin, and I was hooked. I 'm pretty sure they 're the only reason I survived college. We went here last night because we were bored and didn't have anything in the house to eat. We were also lazy and didn't want to make anything. My husband had a coupon that he could use where he got a buy one get one free deal. To be honest, I am normally a chipotle kind of girl, however, I was surprised to see all the options that Freebirds had. I really liked the vegan chorizo and I like that Freebirds had a large variety of sauces to choose from. Other places like chipotle do not have as much of a variety when it comes to sauces.
