"The appetizers, particularly the extraordinary garlic rolls and antipasto, were a feast for both the eyes and the palate! The exquisite wine we chose was exceptional as well. For our main dish, we selected the lasagna with meat sauce, which featured a wonderfully creamy sauce. The portions were very generous, and we definitely took some home. I highly recommend this fabulous Italian restaurant to anyone seeking the best Italian dining experience! We plan to return as often as possible. Bon appétit!"

Ivano's is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in South Lake Tahoe and one of the best I've ever experienced. I was eagerly anticipating my return after some time away, and I am deeply saddened by the news of Ivano's passing. Rest in peace, Ivano. I will truly miss your restaurant, your delicious cooking, and your wonderful companionship. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We hosted our annual Christmas party for our employees on Saturday night, and everything was fantastic! Ivano and his team provided us with exceptional service. You absolutely have to try the antipasto platter! The Chicken Marsala is incredibly delicious, and the garlic bread is simply irresistible. Ivano's mom makes the best Tiramisu! You definitely need to check out Ivano's.

The experience was okay, but the service was incredibly slow. We had made a reservation for a party of nine on a Wednesday night in August a few days in advance, so they were aware of our arrival. The restaurant was quite empty at the time. Unfortunately, it took between 90 to 120 minutes for our food to be served after we placed our orders. To make matters worse, they attempted to sell us another bottle of wine while we waited. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
