"The service on the night we dined here was total chaos. I was able to reserve a table on Open Table with no wait, but walk ins were told it would be a 90 min wait. We were seated relatively quickly, was given a glass of water, and then waited for 20 minutes before anyone came back to take our order that just happened to be the host who was checking in guests at the front and was also bussing tables. There were only 4 people actually working the dining area that we could see and there didn’t appear to be any organization to who was doing what. We vacationed in Lake Placid for the weekend and ate at Jimmys the first night we arrived (as we have several other times). The food was delicious- we were looking for Italian food. We were seated and served promptly. We had reservations. Our waiter was excellent. He accommodated a change to the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant for a high quality, casual meal.
