I kept trying to tell my waitress I wanted the fried popcorn shrimp salad she kept telling me I needed to go to the broiled side I even pointed it on the menu it’s the 3rd salad down on menu n she would not let me order it!! Worst seafood I've ever had in my life! My mother and I wanted to enjoy a Sunday afternoon meal while we spent time together. So we tried this restaurant. First off when I called to order the person taking the order acted like they didn't want to take the time to listen to my questions or help me with my type of order I wanted. When I finally picked it up at the restaurant, and they told me the price, I could not believe the total! Way more than what the menu online says. A whole lot more! Pleasant Surprise Great Food and Service. Was in Statesville Saturday night and decided to give King of The Sea a try. Will admit I had reservations since it had a low approval rating but at the same time, no reviews. Normally not a good sign but I would guess a competitor is behind this.<br/ <br/ I was very surprised and in a very pleasant way. The service from the time you walk in the door was outstanding.
