"Just celebrated Mother's Day here with my husband and daughter. This was our fifth visit, and it was as enjoyable and satisfying as all the other times. We love the food and the charming atmosphere, with authentic French music playing softly in the background. Today, the waitress recommended the veal steak, promising it would be very tender and juicy. She was absolutely right. We each also ordered the foie gras appetizer, not willing to share as we did previously. We finished every last bite. It was crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside, just heavenly. Can't say enough about Chef Philippe's consistently superb cooking. Without a doubt, this is our favorite French restaurant in NJ....

Had the most incredible meal last night! The only thing that upset me is that it took 9 years of living in the area for me to try it. Hands down my new favorite place.

Le Rendez-Vous Bistro in Kenilworth, NJ is a wonderful, intimate restaurant. Unlike many French Restaurants, the portions are substantial. You don't leave there still hungry. The cuisine is unique and, more importantly, delicious! Some of the vegetables are grown in their own little garden. We were attended personally by the owner's wife and the food was prepared by the owner himself, an excellent chef. We met some long-time loyal customers, who call this their go-to place. Try it, you'll like it! BYOB
