"Just came here tonight after a few years. What happened to this place? We were tightly squeezed in a small booth, it is so narrow with all the tables! The calamari was rubbery and not crispy at all. I used to love the Calamari! The antipasto was good. I had the Papparedelle seafood special which was tasteless..hardly any lobster. My dad had the halibut special..flavorless also... and a very small portion. My mom had the chicken campagna which is very good..always has been as far as I know. My niece liked the broccoli rabe. Very disappointed in the food! Lacked flavor and the service could've been better. If you're a water drinker..expect a lack of refills!"

We had a private party wedding dinner at this restaurant (we've also eaten here a few times as well too). It was wonderful. The space was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was very professional and attentive. And most importantly our guests really enjoyed the evening. I would recommended this restaurant to anyone looking for a lovely evening dining out or a private party like we did. Service: Dine in

The key to getting good food from any Chinese takeout place is knowing which dishes are their specialty. It might involve some trial and error, but you can always ask the chef or cashier for their favorite dishes to try. I highly recommend the General Tso's Chicken and the Garlic Chicken, which come with a variety of vegetables and delicious flavors. The Egg Rolls are also tasty and crunchy. The Shrimp Fried Rice and Lo Mein are good choices as well. If you're looking for something really spicy, go for the Singapore Mei Fun - it packs a lot of heat! The service is typical for a takeout place, but the staff is friendly enough. They work long hours and are open even on most holidays, indicating that it is likely a family-run business. I am a big supporter of these independent, non-franchised businesses, as they seem to be disappearing. Overall, I give this place a thumbs up for their delicious food and convenient hours of operation."

"Salvatore, Anna, and the excellent team at Salvatore's of Elmont created an enjoyable and memorable night for our party of 40 people. The outdoor seating was comfortable and accommodating. The food was served piping hot, which I appreciate, and was delicious; there was a lot more than we could finish and we took home dishes for lunch tomorrow. "Eating was excellent. the muddles were so big and plentiful I was surprised that there were so many muddles under the broth. the recommended thai muschel broth was excellent. also other breakfast items were delicious. waitstaff was attentive and not overwhelming. will be going back soon."
