"Everything you expect from some southern kitchen… it’s there. Believe me. I went there with my girlfriend that I’ve known for just about a year now. Time flies huh. I love her. Just like I loved the food. I heard about this place from my grandma a while back and never tried it till today. My options were a little limited because I’m pescatarian but that was quite alright with this establishment. So we (me and my girlfriend) walked in there, and just sat down. They eventually saw us and said they’ll take care of us in just a minute, which was no issue. We were just chilling, checking out the vibe and the walls. First time eating here and the food is amazing! Best mac n cheese I have ever had, fried cat fish was so flaky and buttery. Very happy, we think this is one of the best restaurants in Okeechobee! Staff is extremely sweet!

I love the fried chicken at Mables Place. It is like Grandma use to cook. Nice and crispy on outside and nice and juicy on inside. Cooked to perfection every time.Parking: Hwy 70 East across from Berger King. Where Cowboys use to be. Located in front building.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
