"We ate here twice on a recent stay in the stratification. Enjoy meals, especially the Antipasto dish. The eggplant parmesan was perfectly cooked. Both times it was a little too warm inside for comfort, but the owner opened the door for some ventilation happy. Great food outdoors, but reserve. In this part of Germany as in several other places in Europe, smoking is no longer allowed, so smokers are forced out. So many smokers eat outdoors it is annoying for non-smokers. We've always picked up seating, which makes a big difference. This is only part of the Euro culture. Great owner made every trip unforgettable. Although I have no complaints at all, I would not consider it the best Italian food in Europe. That would be a few big shoes to fill..."
