"Ian (the owner) is incredibly rude. I called on 3/26/22 around 5:15 pm to ask about a balance on two gift cards. Ian was frustrated and told me he was too busy to help me and that I should call back another time… I politely explained we were hoping to eat dinner at Mcphees that evening and all I needed to know was the balance on the gift cards. He sighed into the phone and immediately put me on hold. After about 30 seconds of waiting he got back on the phone and asked what the gift card numbers were. I asked him why he was being so rude towards a customer and his response was that he was busy and didn’t really want to deal with this right now. He tried to say he wasn’t aware the gift cards...

We enjoyed our dinner. Excellent service and food was very good. Nice place to have dinner. It can get busy on weekends. Worth a visit.

Came back to McPhee's on our first night in Cambria last week. An excellent experience from start to finish... We weren't starving, so ordered a chicken tortilla soup, a shrimp salad and a salmon entree, and they were so nice split it all on two plates for us! And Templeton is a cute, small town with that giant grain elevator. Very cool.

loved the atmosphere and the service was really good. we had a party of 6 and everyone ordered something else from the menu. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and unfortunately it was medium, but I didn't want to send it back because the table was already in their meal. the halibut of my wife was exceptional and the aromen were perfect. we had to have the crème brûlée and it was as good as the server had said.
