I much prefer a very light batter on soft shells.The service was very friendly and we did not wait too long. Its a small restaurant and everything was made fresh and to order. The wait was worth it; but . . .That being said, I do wonder how badly COVID has impacted the kitchen staff i.e. who is cooking back there. Soft shell Crabs, Roast Beef Po Boy, Bang Bang Shrimp Salad, Fried Chicken everything was Great! I Highly Recommend going!

I needed a great house cooked meal to repel mardi gras. I stopped at lunch and had a fantastic Hamburger steak, one of my favorites. they are not disappointed. nice sc-feeches. great way to go, Mardi-Gras. early there, they fill up quickly.
