"I had a good time having dinner at this restaurant. The wait service was friendly and efficient, too bad the kitchen couldn't keep up with it. It took a while for the appetizers to arrive, and then a lot longer for the main courses. Overall, the majority of dishes were very good with the exception of their signature dish Blackened Dorado as it was overcooked."

"Absolutely a great food experience! Creative food and excellent service! First customer and we will return! UPDATE. We've been here about 10 times in the last few months. This is by far the best overall eating experience we had in Beaufort. Just a great setting of great food, friends and great service! Try the Escargot or Shrimp appetizer. Salad, each of the secondi, pizza or main courses. Drinks are creative. This place rocks! Reservations recommended, but the bar will first come serve first. Enjoy"

"Beautiful first class kitchen in the evening; Breakwater is just for lunch. Crab cakes are 90% crab, moist deeply flavored — M had one of its best burgers....Cobe/Waygu beef with hearty pimiento cheese, on brioche — oh, hand-cut frits. So?"

"We loved this place. Stopped by for lunch. My margarita was delicious . My wife got the pork belly taco . I got the blackened shrimp and fried chicken taco. They give you a double corn soft tortilla under the mound of toppings. You can make 2 tacos if you want. The toppings are fresh and delicious. This is a must restaurant in Beaufort South Carolina."

"Loved the food and the cocktails. We had to sit at the bar because we had a reservation and that all that is available is bar seat. We were there for a while and it seems that many of these reservations were canceled or were not shows because there were many open and unoccupied tables. That makes sense. The bartender took care of us."
