"I have been coming to Seaside in the summer my entire life. My family orders from other Mexican inspired restaurants in the area and for years I have been disappointed with their food. Monte 's is a blessing. The moment I stepped foot inside to pick up my food I could tell this place was authentic. The food followed through. A great find! My family will definitely return. Montes Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Seaside. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. This was our first time here, but certainly not our last. If you are in or around Seaside, this place is the place to go.

Every city I visit, I like to try her taco spots. I'm also a little sticker for authenticity, I don't like super excessive American versions of food. This place is where you want to get Tacos from Seaside. My wife and I went to dinner and ordered their Bistec (Steak) Tacos and an order of rice and fried beans. The food came within 5-10 minutes and was hot and fresh. They easily ride the tortilla, which gives an ingenious crippiness vs unfried/toasted. Bottom line, if you want fantastic authentic tacos, take them from Montes. I'm back more than a few times before I go. 10/10
