"What a delight! Sous chef sent over a complimentary appetizer while we were still deciding on our order. All our sushi was delicious! The seaweed salad, house salad and miso soup was great. I only remembered to take one photo! It was as good as the presentation! Chef also brought out a dish (first customers to try it. He made mushrooms with barbeque sauce. It was also delicious! Will definitely be back. Everyone was very friendly and the food was very high quality. We had tamago and my daughter commented that it was very authentic. (She lived in Japan for awhile, so she would know! Highly recommend this place! (Owner is waiting on liquor license, if that matters to you. Update: We continue to visit and enjoy the food! I've added two more photos from our lunch visit the other day."

"The food was good and well made. My problem is how the staff was being utilized. There was 7 employees all focused on making food and giving orders out, but none at the register or to take orders I waited for 20mins to just get my order taken and they weren't busy, but a line was created because no one was taking orders. I also waited another 15min at the register when the gentleman behind me orders more food and paid before me. I was there on a Tuesday around 10-11am. The staff wasn't being utilized well at all I don't think staffing was the issue because it looked like they were fully staffed. I think the issue was delegating job tasks as I wasn't the only one that had to wait a long time. Worst of it was that it looked like the managers/owners were there doing the books/ having a meeting when I was there and didn't notice this flaw. This was my first time, but I came with someone who said they were a regular and said it was common for this to happen. I would come back for the food, but not for the service. Update after reading further reviews about food times and order times and reading the response from the owner. I don't think I will be back. I have worked in several resturants, cafes and bars. Management meeting are best done before opening, near closing, or at a time when coverage is possible, or at a slow time of day based on revenue charts. I understand when a company has worked a way for over 50yrs things are classified as normal, but like I said in my original review this was my first time at this establishment and I saw the flaw and it will continue to be a problem in the future for customers, but like I said the food is good. I hope the owner is open to change to help the business run more effectively"

"We had 3 pairs in our party on Thursday 6/2. Shay was our waitress and was very attentive and friendly. She did a great job! We all agreed that our appetizers and meals were very good. I know we're coming back! The only reason I gave 4 stars was the music a little loud to talk. I like all kinds of music and don't think it's loud except when people try to communicate."

"This restaurant experience was incredibly disappointing. I understand that there is a staffing shortage everywhere, but on Saturday at 7pm, I went to eat here. There were about 7-10 people waiting at the door, with most arriving before us. No one came to greet us or acknowledge our presence - no hostess, bartender, server, cook, or anyone. The staff seemed preoccupied with a growing group of people waiting to be seated. After waiting for about 20 minutes without any acknowledgement, we decided to leave. Some other patrons left before us, while others stayed. If there is a 2-hour wait, please let customers know upfront instead of making them wait without any communication. It's unclear why the restaurant was not seating people when there was a waiting list - perhaps they were overwhelmed by the number of patrons."

"diner food was never....more under the average. when they hear diners, they think they eat great comfort, warming suppers and a chaotic burger where the juices run down their poor. here. it no longer has breakfast: nothing special; most seem to be prefabricated with little taste and no real substance.
