"Zeche: 52,60 € General: The restaurant Panda in the small district Löhnhorst of the municipality of Schwanewede on the border to Bremen North, located on a street, uses the premises of the former Waldhotel Köster for an Asian barbecue restaurant. The premises are very generous. In the entrance to the left there is a smoking area, straight ahead a smaller room for groups, the main room with buffet and barbecue, a large hall behind it and a terrace. Asian or some mongolic grill restaurants are now available in many cities according to my observation and you can ask how these restaurants can make it possible, as in Panda, to offer a very comprehensive buffet selection for € 13.80. Speculating about them is not the purpose of a restaurant criticism. In Panda, according to our observation, based on several visits, almost all guests eat buffet. The audience is mixed. We think there are people from the village, but also families or groups that attract the cheap offer from Bremen. Also on Saturday the restaurant is not fully occupied due to the immense capacity. So you can watch spontaneously. In Panda there is a two-part buffet: there is the cold side and the warm side . The cold side keeps the ingredients you put yourself together and put the grill on a plate on the vases. It then cooks the assembly on a hot stainless steel plate with the technique of continuous rotation known from cooking in Wok, for which it uses two wide spatulas. Then he asks which of the eight sauces he should add to seasoning. It ranges from hoisin to ginger, garlic to supposedly sharp Mongolian sauce. You can also choose a sauce mix. Then everything is raised to a fresh plate. On the warm side of the buffet you will find classics known by the Chinese, such as crusty duck breast, fried beef, baked chicken, pork in sesame seeds, eight treasures, mushrooms, rice and four sauces. A selection of cold appetizers (tomatoes with mozzarella, kidney beans, leaf salad and dressings are also offered. So that the food is rounded, there are also sushi with ginger and wasabi to season, baked bananas, fruits, ice cream and forest master jelly. In view of the offer and the still to be treated quality of the offer, the Panda is certainly a good address, but for the friend not highly-ambitated Asian cuisine with great appetite. Given the buffet price of € 13.80 per person and offer, the price-performance ratio is almost the highest value. Food: Before you can take a soup to Beijingart, which awaits with flocculous chicken meat use and slightly acidic note, good from consistency, not sticky. On the cold side of the buffet you will find sprinkled chicken, lamb, beef and kangaroo, shrimp, shrimp, squid, shark, salmon, pangasius and green shells. Fresh vegetables, inlaid germs and Shiitake mushrooms. I ate a fish/seafood walk with oysters and garlic sauce. The ingredients made a fresh impression after the short spatula yarn. The green shells and shrimps leave a remarkably high-quality impression of the use of goods. In addition to the sauces, the barbecue had another bowl with freshly cut chilli peppers and I ordered these spices so my food was pretty sharp. The second grill with meat ingredients. Here the griller chose the soßenmix for me, also with the sharpness of the fresh chilli! He said it was good and so it was a bit sweaty, which was also perceived with joy by the hostess. My companion chose their own creations, such as mixed sea and pasture (see photo surf and turf or also some of the sweet offer. Last but not least, I dared to have a small mixture of the warm buffet. That was solid. The duck breast, which has been kept warm for some time, was tender and not dried. After several visits we can say that the ingredients and preparation of the sprinkles on the hot plate in the panda bring a good quality to the plate. Service: In Panda there is a ancestral service crew that appeals to guests personally and thus goes beyond Asian restraint. The drinks are very fast on the table. At the beginning there is also a green drink 2 cl from the house, probably something if anything alcoholizes fruity at all, to whose content I don't like anything. For 0.3 l of Pils will be charged €2.40, a bottle of mineral water 0.75 l will be charged with €4.90. You cannot talk about wine selection. You can choose between red and white! And for the surprise 3,90 € for 0.2 l surprise. The speciality on the drink card is for brave the five Chinese hammocks, starting with the Kao Liang (2.50 € to Mou Tai (3.50 €). And whoever sits himself and creates four gets at the end a fourth of the hostess (at least she paid me this respect. It impresses with the spaciousness of the rooms. This can be very pleasant for larger groups with children or older eaters and all that belongs to it. That doesn't make Panda uncomfortable. The Asian decorative necklace keeps within limits. The tables are also generous. Notabene is easy to park even buses. Cleanliness: The Panda makes a very well maintained impression. The tables are bright but well wiped. Plates, bowls and cutlery are abundant at the buffet. It'll go. It should be noted that the wet rooms from the dimensioning are also honored by any team accommodation."

"Zeche: €62.70 General: I'm just trying to explain what drove us to Schwanewede into Athos. It was the good reviews on other superficial platforms. The statement of semigourmet in the pre-criticism on RK that at least the food is good service is bad, I unfortunately cannot confirm. Schwaneweder, who are shying wide paths, may continue to plentifully populate the Athos as on Saturday night, we will not embark on the trip a second time. The Athos offers a homepage, unfortunately without an insight into the menu [here link] . I see the price performance ratio at three stars. After several Greek critiques in Bremen, I decided to form a ranking. It is based on RK reviews. Here it is weighted with my evaluation intermediate stages, food twice, PLV simply, with the same number of points a rank is awarded several times : 1. Orpheas, Burg Grambke: 4,17 2. Kalymnos, Burg Grambke: 4 3. Meos, Lehesterdeich: 3,83 3. Poseidon, Gröpelingen: 3,83 3. Symposio, Neustadt: 3,83 4. Katerini, ferry Lobbendorf: 3,67 5. Olympia, Grohn: 3,58 6. Ifestos, Ferry Lobbendorf: 3.5 6. Irodion, Ferry Lobbendorf, 3.5 7. Parthenon II, Gröpelingen, 3,33 7. Artemis, Lüssum Bockhorn: 3.33 8. Poseidon Blumenthal 3,33 9. Sparta, Lesum: 3.25 9. Taverna Saloniki, Neustadt: 3,25 10. Akropolis, ferry Lobbendorf: 3,17 11. Kiriaki, Lesum: 3 11. Crete, OHZ: 3 11. Athos, Schwanewede: 3 Service: Actually it was going well. A lousy comment at the reception and a very fast beverage service by a friendly young man made a good impression. There are counted six mostly younger operators and the host with a controlling view. As so often, we asked to take a break to the main dishes after the plentiful starter selection. This was not contradicted, but unfortunately also not offered to order the main dishes in the kitchen only upon our request. We had just finished our appetizer and sat in front of six empty plates and plates when an operator came with the main dishes. We refused acceptance. Then we got the feeling of being punished with ignoring. No one, even not the host passing our table several times, made an institution to clean up and ask for another drink request. I had to pick up an operator and ask to clean up and bring more drinks. Quickly afterwards the main dishes. As I noticed after a bite of Gyros, it was the food that was taken back, now only lukewarm. A cheerful attempt, as I said to the host. He quickly cleared himself, promised a fresh preparation and brought a soothing ozo. So our noticeable determination led to a crisis intervention by the host. Nevertheless, only three stars for work at the table. Beverage prices mixed: A Pils 0.3 l is available for moderate €2.30, the bottle of mineral water 0.75 l comes to kulante €4.50. The few open wines on the map start for the quarter at 4,20 € red or For the bottle 0.5 l of Malamatina, the 3rd 8,80 € is calculated for comparison: Symposio Bremen Neustadt: 7,10 € . From the house there is an ouzo for greeting and for billing. Food: We chose Gigantes 4,50 €, feta with onions 4,80 €, Calamaressalat 5,90 € and grilled Pepperoni with garlic sauce 4,10 €. Just beans in seasoned tomato sauce. The Calamarese piece with the typical can taste, the rather small number of Pepperoni was served with a thick strip of industrial cocktail sauce with a hint of garlic and the feta was once again one of the softer and taste-poor variety, in which I always fluctuate, whether I can taste sheep cheese or whether I can taste cow cheese in the card despite the express name Feta. The grill plates were once covered with liver and Gyros Leonidas, €10.80 and Gyros, Souvlaki, Kefte Frikadelle, Odysseus, €12.50. Apply the very thinly cut liver and the chopped. The Souvlaki shallow from cut and dry; the Gyros fresh and lean, but unfortunately faded and without as already detected by semigourmet and accused Tsatsiki served. In addition, the usual rice and a proper herb salad. The portion sizes well. The heights of the Holy Mountain did not reach the food and remained in the plain at three stars. Ambiance: The Athos is not a typical blue white Greek from colour and decoration. Only a few figures, indicated columns and music sounding provide the folklore. Dark wood tones, white scented masonry and warm wall and ceiling colours give the impression. We counted a total of four areas where many guests find room. The main space in front of the tress is well divided and one sits on bare, dark niche tables, which are sufficiently dimensioned, also the running paths are rectangled. The benches covered with artificial leather. After dark we felt it as dark, because the spots embedded in the elaborately designed ceiling are not suitable for illumination and give only little light at the tables. The quality of stay is good. A terrace is provided for the warm season. The toilets are spacious and fresh. Cleanliness: All right."
