"We 've eaten here many times over the years and it 's certainly declined in quality both of service and food. The bread tasted pasty, like it had been frozen after baking and microwaved. Either it or the butter had a rancid taste. I did not try either appetizer, but the rest of the group enjoyed them. (Brie and hummus). The salads were ok except for the grainy tomatoes. The experience of eating in a house built in the late 1800s is an experience in and of itself. NY stip was perfectly prepared and pared very well with the greens and butternut squash crisps.
