"Wish I could recommend this place. The server was very friendly. Unfortunately the food was not particularly good, but stayed on the pricier side. They forgot my drink order (still charged me for it, didn't realize until later). We waited a longer time than the tables around us, despite being a party of two. That said, the calamari was good. All-in-all, it's not a restaurant I'd want to visit twice."

very loud. he let us wait 15 minutes before our reservation time, service was overall bad and lack of attention, eating was quite good on the positive

Had the most amazing service! The chef seems to like to use a lot of lavender in the dishes but the fried chicken and waffles were delicious and the Cowboy steak was cooked perfectly!

"First I want to say Chris, our server, was wonderful! I also want to say we have eaten at Rio Grill some half a dozen times and felt it good enough to keep coming. This time we ordered the Arugula salad that was lovely and light, perfect size for sharing as a first course. We ordered the half slab of pork ribs, the flavor was good but they were the toughest ribs my husband and I have ever had. It came with a slaw that was so-so and the sweet potato chips were rubbery and difficult to chew. Never did I expect chips to be of such a consistency. Wasn’t sure if they had been sitting out for a while, or if they were under cooked, but it was an unpleasant consistency. Wondering if sweet potato fries would be an easier option for the cooking staff? We got laughing about how much chewing was required of the main course and agreed that we were concerned that our jaw would be sore by morning. Again, our server was very good and none of the food issues were his problem. But the food wasn’t worth coming back for. Sadly, we were disappointed."

"We were a large party of 8 and had 4 more joined us at the last minute. They could not have been nicer. They accommodated the extra people and were so pleasant. We had two children with us and drinks were served in non spill cups and their food was brought out right away. Our food was delicious. Such a wonderful evening. Thank you Rio Grill!"

"The food was excellent. We had the corn and Clam-chowder for starters. Very delicious. My wife had the scallops with Pea risotto and I had the sand of Dabs. Both were made perfect and a decent size. We also had the bread pudding, huge and delicious! And the melted chocolate cake. Delicious! My only minor complaint was the service a little dirty. It took a while to eat and needed to refill for water a few times to ask. The waiter only checked us after fasting. But surely will return. Also the Pesto sauce they served with bread was excellent!"
