"One night stay in Savannah so was looking for a spot for breakfast before hitting the road. I came across The Funky Brunch Cafe so decided to check it out. I got there just before 9am and it was still pretty empty. The hostess was seating the couple in front of me and saw I was alone and just said you go sit at the bar. I followed them in and asked if that was my only option. She asked what? And I asked if solos had to sit at the bar. There were only about 4 tables with people at them so it wasn't like they were hurting for tables; another lady overheard and said he can have a table. Stopped in for a quick brunch and received excellent customer service. The place is very colorful , bright and unique. Cute umbrellas lol The food was OK. Not bad but not great either. Ok. Price is definitely good for Historic District

The ambiance is the only reason they have a star from me and the fact that without a star there would be no review. The service was mediocre, if she was attentive she would 've known that I didn 't like any of my food. I literally took a small bite of everything and pushed it away. She walked over and said, you need anything else? I looked at her and didn 't say anything, but my friend did and she walked away thinking everything was okay. The grits flavorless.
