The Madison On Paint

When we arrived at The Madison, we discovered that it was not open. Their website promotes Sunday brunch every week, so we had prepared our family (including four kids) to celebrate Father's Day there. However, we found the building locked and empty upon arrival. Despite trying to call both that day and the next, we received no answer. We also sent an email but did not receive a response. Despite being able to make a reservation on their website, which indicated that Sunday brunch was available every week, the restaurant was closed.

The experience at this restaurant was not great from the beginning. It seemed like they had overbooked or allowed too many walk-ins. Despite having a reservation for 1:15, we were not seated until 1:45. It took another 10 minutes for us to place a drink order. When we finally made it to the buffet, there were only two plates available, so we had to wait. Many food items were either out or not being refilled. We arrived at our reservation time only to be told that there were no high chairs available and we would have to wait. After a 35-minute wait, we were finally seated but still without a high chair. Following the advice of other guests, we decided to check out the buffet. Unfortunately, there were no plates and many people waiting to be served. The omelette station was backed up with orders and there were no plates available to serve them on. Additionally, most of the chafing dishes were empty and the carving station was not labeled.
