"I love this place, but unfortunately they are completely on the hill and I can no longer recommend it. I ordered cakes since they opened when I live down the street and it is very comfortable. I am mad at myself that this year I ordered a cake for my daughters for the birthday after the last year of the Fiasko, not having the cake available after the order and paying for it a week earlier. I ordered a cake here for a birthday of my sisters and the experience of staff and the cake presentation was very nice, but the cake bread itself is VERY dry and only the butter cream saved the cake. The next time I have to order from here, I will make a recommendation for them to leave the cake at least moist. We followed directions and left the cake out and NOT cooled, but it was still very dry.

I wish I caught the name of the young lady at the front, she was great! You'll find it hard to miss the bright pink store front of The Cakeroom. I ordered a 6 vanilla birthday cake that was very well received. I got a lemon square on the way out and for only $3 it tasted fresh and I wish I got 2 of them.Given the cute decorations, very straightforward ordering process, and great taste I'd say it was worth the $50 for a high quality birthday cake. I think it could feed 6-8 adults easily. If you're with friends who have less of a sweet tooth, you could get ~10 reasonable pieces. Pair it with some ice cream and invite me so I can have some too!

On 10/18/22, I placed an order for 30 cupcakes. The employee at the bakery only prepared 8 cupcakes, which were picked up by the delivery driver. Later on, the employee realized that I had also ordered 1 dozen red velvet and 1 dozen lemon lavender cupcakes in addition to the 8 that were prepared. Instead of notifying me of the mistake, the employee contacted Door Dash to request a refund. When I called the bakery to address the issue, the employee was rude and defensive. He refused to acknowledge his error and insisted that I place a new order through Door Dash to receive the rest of my cupcakes.
