"I have been here for lunch Saturday, 5 February 2022, and was very pleasantly surprised as there are not many real mothers and pops in the world, and for lunch DIESER PLACE WAS JAM PACKED. I soon found out why: the service is excellent, the food was really homemade, and both mom and pop can cook! The crab meat is bought by Maryland, and it is real blue crab. The portions are generous, and it's all you want to eat! Many desserts are made in-house – and also run out quite quickly; and the desserts (like the apple cake I have eaten) are NOT in the house, must be made in someone else's house because they are too good to be commercial! A very friendly diner with really great homemade dishes. The whole staff was friendly, the prices were good, and the deserts looked amazing, although I had no room after my lunch. I had the Uncle Dave's Burger with mac-n-cheese eggs and bacon. Great. Very recommended!

Stuns on this little local jewel today. My husband and I stopped for lunch and can't wait to go back. Everyone who works there was so friendly and the customers all chat with each other. My husband got the A1 berry with onion rings and I got the Philly Steak packing with fries. The food was really good and piping hot. Breakfast is served all day and I decided I'm in the area next time. Oh and the desert! Since we were sitting in front of him, I couldn't check them several times. We left with a few slices of the most delicious chocolate cake!
