whether they are a week or a few days here, a stop in this German restaurant should be on their list of places to eat. we enjoyed the appetizers, frankfurter schnitzel, beer and even their deserts tasted! all delicious! the food was hot, fresh and very delicious!

Whenever we are in frankfurt or if we stay overnight at the airport to fly back to usa, we take the train or taxi to the painted house in the old town. it is the best German food in the city with a great, typical German atmosphere....We never had a bad meal and eating and beer to be reasonable praises. make sure they reserve in the evening. it is packed!
