"This is the main restaurant of The Little Nell which is a five star and five diamond hotel!! We were very excited to visit during our holiday vacation in Aspen. We went there on Christmas day and fortunately we found a table without a reservation! The staff were very nice and service was very good. We ordered 'america 's best hot chocolate ' and Truffle Fries! We liked the hot chocolate, it was also a wonderful presentation and really filling but not so sure if it was worth the $14. Their fries were really good! As a lover of condiments, believe me when I say the sauces are not needed with this one. The fries tasted great and we finished the large plate even though we were quite full. But again, a little steep on the price $17) for fries. Overall, we liked it because we felt that we tried America 's best hot chocolate.. price-wise though, not sure if it actually lived up to the title..."

"The host obviously does not like children and is hostile in my opinion to diners who bring children. throughout our dinner he kept giving us dirty looks and made dining very unpleasant. He is rude not customer oriented and sets a very bad example for the restaurant. Why someone like this is in the hospitality business is a mystery and a poor reflection on the owner. they should out a sign children not welcomed here"

"This charming restaurant offers excellent service, a diverse menu, and an extensive wine selection that may be a bit pricey for some. The standout dish was the Veal Loin Scaloppine, prepared in a Piccata style with a flavorful lemon caper butter sauce, creamy potato puree, and garlic spinach. The Fig Salad was also impressive, featuring fresh greens, crispy pancetta, and mild blue cheese, though we wished for more marinated figs. The Lobster Ravioli was tasty but overshadowed by a strong mushroom sauce. With careful dish selection and a few glasses of wine, a meal here can be affordable."

"Yes I recommend this place. Quick stop for a burger and tots. Ordered at the counter, no crowd on Sun at noon. Pleasant service and quick prop of food. The burger was well prepared with onions snd cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, all included. It's in the lower level, below ground level so no view of anything but yr walls. There is indoor and outdoor seating."

"Menu on open table did not reflect the real menu. The prices were $10 more for almost every item. Wine list was ridiculous- not one bottle under $200. Food was delicious and service was great though. I would go back if they had some wine to choose from in the $50-$100 range."

"9:30pm Friday Server: Jugo We stopped in after the comedy festival for a bite to eat and were seated right away BUT it took 15 minutes for the server to arrive. When she did we ordered drinks and our meal in case we didn't see her again. Its a good thing we did because we never saw her again. She didn't ask how I wanted my burger and it came out rare, yuck. I tried to catch someone to send it back but I couldn't get anyone to stop. After an hour I asked a runner for a box and the check. One of the cooks brought the check and we left. I really felt like we would have been there all night if the cook hadn't taken pity on us. If Jugo is your server ask for someone else right away."

"Even if we're local, we never sang here. Our server Stephanie knew the dishes and wines, and their service and team coverage were overwhelming. Halibut special was delicious. Hamachi appetizer perfect, bread a special treat, and desserts very unique to aspen, just as delicious. Four of us, all enjoyed dinner immense. The next day for low season, and no reference to only tomorrow in food preparation, ambience, service or decor. Enjoy the next culinary experience."

"My husband stopped at the bakery for ice cream but we also bought some cookies. They smelled so good. This is an extremely nice place. The ice cream was delicious and the staff were really nice. You should make a stop here. This is an extremely popular place. When you go to Aspen, Colorado, be sure to pay them a visit. You will be glad you did."

"This place is all hype and no delivery. The food was meh. My husband and I ordered the duck confit app, salmon, and short ribs entrees. The duck was the only thing that was good. If I could do it over again, I’d order the duck app as an entree and a side of brussel sprouts (not sure if the side would be tasty or not). The salmon sits in what tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup. Why? The salmon was cooked well but not seasoned well and rest of the dish tasted and looked blah. The short ribs were better but still under seasoned and were pretty dry. Better presentation on the short ribs but nothing to write home about. As for drinks, I stuck with a French red and my husband did his standard Negroni. They didn’t have the gin he asked for and then they didn’t have the right ratios of ingredients. My husband didn’t finish it which was a first. My wine was good. No complaints there. Overall, if this restaurant is on your bucket list, then go. Otherwise go somewhere else."

"Delightful experience with very savvy service. We were lucky to have great weather for the rooftop dining, with carefully placed umbrellas , as the wind kicked up.The beet salad with local fresh cheese and quinoa was impressive in the textures and doneness of the baby beets. The oz tenderloin was perfectly done crisp outside and juicy all through. The local bass with chimi sauce was crisp and the eggplant was tender and flavorful with a tangy sauce. Sides of chick pea fries a bit heavy , but the carrots and zucchini beautifully done , and tender. Desserts were also freshly prepared and sorbet was satisfying.Fun vibe, and we will return soon"

"Plato's at the Aspen Meadows Resort is a must-visit restaurant in Aspen. With superior service, inventive dishes, and a spectacular view, it was the highlight of our five-day vacation. While it may not be within walking distance of the city center, we highly recommend making reservations and arranging transportation to experience this gem. The staff was welcoming and efficient, helping us secure a table with a great view that was shielded from the sun. The modern design, contemporary music, and friendly atmosphere added to the overall experience. The menu, although on the smaller side, featured delicious dishes made with local ingredients. We sampled items from both the All Day and Seasonal menus, and were impressed by the presentation, flavors, and creativity. The bar drinks were unique and tasty, although the bar could get busy at times. Prices were higher, but reflective of the Aspen area and worth the cost for the quality received. Overall, I highly recommend Plato's as the best restaurant in Aspen."

"We stopped here to grab lunch while passing through Aspen. It was recommended by someone at an estate sale, so we decided to check it out. Our waiter was really nice and attended us quickly. The plates were a good portion, and the food tasted good. We did have to wait a while before we received our food. If you're hungry or in a hurry, you might want to go somewhere else if you can't wait. We waited around 45 minutes for our food. We weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us. We ordered the full rack of ribs, sausage, and the mac cheese. My husband loved the mac and cheese. He said it was delicious. It's made with different cheeses. My mother in law ordered some sweet potato tots, and she said they were really good. Each plate is around $15 to $20 dollars, which is a good price. If you order a soft drink, you do receive a souvenir plastic cup. The plates are set up nicely.Parking: They do have a parking lot, but it's small and tight. Street parking is available, but it's busy and has a 2 hour minimum. We had to drive a couple of times around to find parking."

"One wouldn 't think at a place called ' CP Burger ' to look for a kale salad but it is by far the BEST I have ever had; and it doesn 't stop there either the burgers and shakes are mouth watering and there isn 't any better after a day hitting of the moutain!"
