"The food was disappointing and not clearly described on the menu. The calamari was coated in sauce, which was unexpected and not to our liking. When we told the waitress, she just said it was a popular dish and walked away. The risotto was overly salty, and the scallops were bland. The service was rushed, with our main course arriving quickly after our appetizers. Overall, the experience was overpriced and underwhelming. I would not recommend or return to this restaurant."

"in total, opposite the tail end of our dining room experience, everything was ruined, we were there for our 27 high-time day ended out of it completely deserted and embarrassing. the manager accused me, bcos their system from whatever reason shown that I don't pay when I showed them an entrance from their system of payment. I could not convince them for all the time, I think the manager were motivated by racism-Becos, they would not leave the question going away, even if I offered to give them another card, under a condition that they write to me that the other accused did not refuse by them bcos they were not sure bad service overall a zero not going there more I was a regular parade of them since they opened in the seaport. they ruined everything together one of my worst experiences."

"that was delicious. designed recommendations from the server and all were Spot-on. my wife, who is gf (preference), also estimated the number of options she had. they have no cocktails, but have a beautiful wine and beer list. while the restaurant was busy, we did not notice much noise and had a great time to catch up with friends. to go back soon!"

"The dinner was excellent for my wife but the Steak Au Poive was just so so , i chose poorly but to get stars it should not matter. Everything Else was great, the Lobster bisque, Lobster Mac and Cheese highly recommended. I would definitely go back but hopefully choose another entree. My wifes tenderloin and loster tail chef special was "five star". Coconut Cream Pie which our daughter recommended was very rich"

"I was extremely disappointed with the service last night. It felt rushed and the server kept blaming our late arrival, even though the restaurant was still open. If they are open at 9, they should provide the same level of service to all customers. The food was cold and the steak was almost raw. Despite hearing good reviews, our experience felt like a waste of money and time."

"Love Grill 23, have been going there for all nights out for 10 years. Never had a bad meal until Saturday night. Had to send a steak back twice. Order a filet medium, came out red inside, sent back and it came back the same. Management took the steak and had it re cooked a 3rd time. Blamed it on renovations disrupting the kitchen staff which is understandable but by the time I received my steak everyone else was finished with their meal and sides. So sad but hopefully things will return to normal when renovations are completed"

"We get there for Thanksgiving dinner with high-quality restaurant expectations. My wife chose the Thanksgiving menu with carrot ginger soup, turkey apple cake and I chose Arancini, rib and pumpkin cake. We chose 3 bottles of wine, but none of them was available, and this wine decision process lasted almost 30 minutes. After all, we get 2 glasses of wine and we could drink with our last bites of our appetizers. Then came after a little waiting main courses and we both got the turkey. I said I asked for rib. They went back, I waited again and they brought the rib. That was the process. Portions were humiliated, that's what you expect on a Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, the Brussels sprouts and the cunning potatoes were much too salty, but the overall food was good. The desserts were super delicious. I would have expected a better service at this price. Recommended, but ask your server for less salt!!!"

In addition to the excellent oysters, I was torn a halibut caponata special between 3 menu points. she recommended that heal. I've learned to consult a server for a long time and she was soouo right! it looked and tasted amazing! that is not exaggerated! the young sat next to me, asked me and the server what it was because it was so beautiful! the soulman on the healed and the aromen of the caponata were spot on! when they think about coming here, they stop thinking and come here for a great culinary experience!"

"We went there the night before Thanksgiving and it was a great dinner. The appetizer, roasted Calamari, was good, but a large part of it was just roasted Jalapenos. My duck was the whole fish, and I loved him. The meat was tender and the skin was beautiful and crispy. My friend also enjoyed his risotto with scallops like add on. They gave quite a lot of scallops for a good price. For dessert we got the baked Alaska as dessert and it was huge."

"This place was a secret amazing discovery from the beaten path near Fenway Park! These reserve ribs shined in sunlight with a sweet honey glaze coating that I raised at the bottom of the plate. The bone in these guys, not the flesh, fell apart because they were too tender. My second favorite dish was definitely the red curry that was on the sweeter side and had a good blend of veggies that were perfectly cooked (no mushiness). All the dishes we tried were solid, and I will definitely try again their other curries and noodle-lunch combos! "We showed up to the restaurant without having a reservation but were greeted by the host kindly. We stood outside for about 15 minutes before they were open but they let us in early. Most of us got the restaurant week menu and it's a very good deal. The bread was good and idk what that balsamic vinegar and olive oil was but it's soooo good. I got the smoked salmon: it was good and the olive was interesting but quite salty as the olives are. Rigatoni truffle was pretty good , not too heavy. You get a good whiff of the truffle. Pana cotta was yummy but I was too full! We had a great time. The service was attentive and the place look really nice and classy. Great vibes to catch up with old friends. Definitely take advantage of the restaurant week menu when you can."
