"After some days in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and then Anderson and Clemson, South Carolina, where we encountered some of the most unpalatable food imaginable, it was such a pleasure to find Great Wall Chinese restaurant in Birmingham. It has been voted the best Chinese restaurant in Alabama, and with good reason. The food is real, authentic, and tasty. We had lamb with green chili, stir-fried rice cake with Napa cabbage, and braised dried bean curd sticks with black mushroom and tofu (all pictured below). Every dish was delicious, as were the pot stickers with which we began, and the amounts were so generous that we have a second take-out meal for tomorrow. Service was friendly, courteous, and prompt, and the atmosphere of the place very pleasant. I highly recommend it.Parking: Lots of parking."
