"Food was great... the energy of the woman who took my order was meh... she got a little upset because I requested something they don 't do. Ok... Im sorry sheesh... I just wanted something toasted. It was my first time there, and I tried to park in the back. It 's really tight back the, e so I tried to fit in a spot. I didn 't realize I was parking in 2 spots because the lines were a bit faded, and Pat himself came out with a bit of an attitude and asked me to move my car. I apologized and told him I didn 't know I was in 2 spots... and he replied with attitude and said Well you are and turned and went back into the building. Well damn... sorry man... my first time sheesh"

My boyfriends breakfast was cold and something weird was in the beans. The bill never came we had to go ask for it ourselves. Just kind of unpleasant all around"

"I ate here tonight for the first time in about a decade. For the interegnum, I've been telling everyone who asks that the best burger in the world is the cry baby at The Avenue. Coming back, I was worried that my old favorite wouldn't be quite the same. I've changed a lot, perhaps the burger that once lighted my nights wouldn't hold up to new experiences. Fortunately it does. It's tangy and cheesy like watching reruns of Friends or Frasier or other comfort shows from an easier time in the world. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I run into for the next ten years. Hopefully I make it back to Boston to check in and make sure this place is still awesome."

"I came in during the late afternoon on Saturday 8/26/23. I decided to order off the brunch menu. My duck confit hash and side of roasted potatoes were tasty and came out in a timely manner. The drinks were alright not my favs. The place has a chill soft lighting vibe and I enjoyed the playlist they had going that day. Diego was a professionally waiter with good knowledge of the menu and ready with solid recommendations. The price point for the food is reasonable the drinks are bit more pricy for my taste. Overall I would come back to try new things and would recommend the place to others as well."

"Amazing place to eat. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a feast of lobster and the best dessert in the city. The price was right for what they offered. The reason for only four stars is that I could not understand the signage at all. I had to ask a staff member outside how to get into the actual restaurant part of the building. They were very helpful, but it was difficult."

"First time at Rino’s Place with family visiting from out of town. WOW, the food was fantastic and oh my gosh the portions were Huge!! Be prepared to be driving around for a while looking for parking. We had great customer service and sat by the window with our party of four. The restaurant is small, quaint and lovely. Highly recommend!!"

"I got the Scotch Egg and the Shepard's Pie. Scotch Egg and the side salad was delicious and was my favorite part of the meal at $12 dollars. The salad was light and tasted great, being a nice counter foil to the fried Scotch Egg. The egg itself was well cooked and consistently breaded. The Shepard's Pie was hit or miss in some parts. The vegetables were well diced and consistent throughout. The mashed potatoes ran a bit thin and weren't thick unfortunately but the cheese on top gave me that extra texture and taste that was enough to distract me. There was not a great quantity of meat and I was expecting more for the $24 price tag. Service was okay. I waited a bit too long for my liking for my order to be taken but my server was nice and cheerful. I left content and full but wanted just a bit more from the experience."

"We waited a while to be seated despite plenty of empty tables I assume they were understaffed. When we went to our table I noticed many tables had yet to be cleared. The burger I got was fantastic, exactly what I was looking for, simple but effective. The skillet cookie they offer for dessert was also excellent."

"I have visited this restaurant several times and have tried almost every appetizer on their menu due to going in large groups. All of their appetizers are fantastic, especially the eggplant which is so delicious it could be mistaken for meat. The prosciutto and fried calamari are also excellent choices. The meatballs are packed with flavor. I also sampled a few drinks including a Manhattan, Negroni, and various wines, all of which were enjoyable. For the main courses, I tried the cioppino and veal osso buco. The cioppino had a good selection of seafood, while the veal osso buco was the standout dish. The meat was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. It was a definite highlight. If you try one thing at this restaurant, make sure it is the veal osso buco. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu and key lime pie, both of which were delicious, with the key lime pie standing out as the better choice."

"My 1st ever hot butter lobster roll. It was good! I have nothing to compare to however the other people eating there were saying out of all the other nearby restaurants, this one’s the best. The bun stayed toasted and together, with lots of lobster meat. I wish I had another one. Note: free parking is available on the side of the building. You have to order at the register 1st before you can have a table to dine in at."

"Wow, what a great little place! I got a 4 course lunch meal here featuring salad, soup, spring rolls and a Thai Seafood combo served by a sweet pretty lady in an elegant setting for $12.95! Cooked perfectly, plenty of seafood, and they even made the rice into a little star. It doesn't get any nicer, and you can't even get a fish n chips for this price. What a bargain."

"The food was great, but the service was poor. To start, the waitress forgot my husband’s beer. She said the bar was really busy. We were sitting in view of the bar and that wasn’t true. Once our food came, the server did not check on us. She came to clear plates and asked if we wanted dessert and we responded no. Once we responded no she put the check on the table. Again, didn’t ask us how anything was. Sadly, I probably wouldn’t go back."
