"Mediocre skewers at best. Friendship BBQ replaced one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Boston (Hot Eastern) but unfortunately this misses the mark. While there is a ?grill? at the table, it is mostly for show as the skewers come cooked and there are just a couple tea light candles under the grill that provide minimal heat. Some of the skewers were cold when served and we were only able to get them to lukewarm before just deciding to eat them. The meats don?t taste veryfresh (some even seemed over cooked/dry) and the seasoning sat on top of the skewer rather than fully seeping in with flavor. Also not great value for money vs other Chinatown spots we spent $50 for 2 people and came away still a littlehungry. Really hope that the owners can improve the food quality/experience as Boston needs a great skewer restaurant!"

"I love the boba I think I came here last year I can't remember but I'm here today and I love the matcha boba. I will come back here again to order a different boba drink and maybe this time it would be the winter melon jasmine. It's clean and the customer service is amazing especially the coworkers ???"

"I know service may vary depending on who is working there, but 3 out of 3 times I went I got a hot fresh juicy burger. And the second time in particular was the closest I had ever seen to a photo. It may take longer than the average fast food burger but that's because everything is made to order. One of my favorite places next to In-N-Out and Five Guys."

"I am visiting from New York and wasnt feeling well. Pho Noodle soup always helps settle my tummy. I signed up for DoorDash to get food delivered to my hotel. Door Dash said it would take 45-60 minutes. The food was delivered in 30 minutes. The Pho was piping hot and fresh. It was so delicious that Im ordering it again today, plus Pad Thai for my train ride to New York. Cant wait!"

"10/10, love ordering from here so much we get stuck! But it doesnt feel like it because its always amazing. The packaging is convenient and feels good to hold. The Tom Yum soup is delicious with all the right flavors, the yellow curry is an absolute delight and standby. Love the scallion pancakes. Want to work my way through the menu, rice is cooked extraordinarily well. its so good. I have ordered from here more times than I can count and have never been disappointed"

"You’ve probably never said, “Let’s get Burmese!” Yoma is testament to why. I had a small portion (half of what I typically eat) of cheap udon noodles in a flavorless sauce with a couple scraps of chicken and minimal toppings, for about twice what I’d think is a fair price. I got Mandalay Chicken Noodle for $14.25. I tried my friend’s “traditional” Pickled Tea Salad appetizer for $12.85, and it tasted and was textured like a basic salad from Subway. It also was a tiny portion for an entree price. The waiter was nice besides never refilling water, and the atmosphere was cute enough for a casual place. They also have a little Burmese market shelf in the middle of the restaurant."

"ORDER: I ordered online, but it doesn?t seem like dining-in is even an option at this location; when I went to pick it up, I saw a counter where you ordered and picked up food. I got The Bev $14.50) and the Brown Sugar Milk $4.50). POKE: The ingredients seem fresh. The white rice was chewy, not mushy; it seemed fully cooked, but there were parts I was worried that it wasn?t. The amount of rice was a lot; I ended up not finishing 1/6th of my meal, leavingmostly white rice and corn. Despite the freshness of the ingredients, I didn?t find the ingredients or flavor to be anything special. Given the amount of food, the price was reasonable. DRINK: I didn?t have any boba in my drink. Ithought it would come with it, but it seems that you have to order that separately $0.50). Without the boba, it was just sugary milk. Like the poke, I didn?t find the drink to be particularly special. In my opinion, paying $4.50 for thedrink would have been more worth it if regular boba had been included without me paying extra for it. CONCLUSION: Despite the ingredients being fresh, the flavor of the food and drink were not particularly impressive to me. I thought theprice of the poke was reasonable. I am giving the restaurant 3 stars: I might eat there again it I was in the area, but I wouldn?t intentionally seek it out. If I had choose a dish I would try next, I would make my own bowl. I personallywouldn?t recommend it as a go-to restaurant, but if you?re looking for a poke place with fresh ingredients and the potential for a variety of choices at a reasonable price, I might give this place a try."

"Don 't know why more people don 't know about this wonderful Boston restaurant! Perhaps it 's because it 's hidden inside the Hyatt Regency with no external sign? Excellent food, artfully presented, at moderate prices. I enjoyed the salmon with a light mustard and maple glaze. My wife raved about her scrod. For dessert, we shared a rich Guinness chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and blackberries. It came with a dish of Irish Cream vanilla ice cream. Service by our waiter, Narayan, was friendly and professional and attentive. Atmosphere is contemporary and classy, as well as quiet and relaxing. Parking is easy in their underground garage for the Hyatt Regency Hotel. After our delicious dinner, we attended Boston Ballet just steps away. Do yourself a favor and try Avenue One!"

"This is second restaurant amazed me in Boston area. The first is Neptune which is a top seafood restaurant. You can see how I like this Thai food restaurant lol. The spice is used so different but give you a brand new experience. I felt I sat on a tropical beach when I tasted the noodle soup it seems there is passion fruit flavor in it. We randomly ordered several dishes and they are all flavorful! The fried chicken is so tasty and the lemon flavor inside is ???? price is reasonable and when you order online there is 10% off and more than $45 dine in they will send a scallion pancake for free. All in all I would come back to try more dish soon!"

"The pizza were all made correctly and tasted good, but the toppings and cheese were on the thinner side. A little more sauce, toppings, and cheese would have made it a 5 star."

"Solid pizza. Good chewy crust with thick edge and thin bottom, not soggy or greasy. Got the cheese and added pepperoni. Meatball calzone also tasty though the sauce that comes with is a little on the orange side for a marinara. It was still delicious. The greek salad was good and fresh and if you like olives, youll like this. We have tried so many pizza places around the Boston looking for good pizza options and Regina keeps coming up as one of the most dependable options."

"I never get the shake when I order it, this is the 2nd time. if u look at the slip it says it on there, I asked the driver didnt it have a drink she said this was all she got the food and the soft serve, it is an additional charge to upgrade to oreo shake, frustrating. food was hot and made to direction , just the emission of my oreo shake"

"Three aspects of the order were inorrect. I have ordered from here multipletimes and this does not reflect the normally high quality burrito they make."
"Oreo shake was prepared without anything covering the top (not sanitary). Bacon on burger was undercooked."

"PLNT Mushroom BBQ Bacon Burger was so small dor almost $13 and way too sweet. Nothing about the bacon was bacon. it was just a piece of soft mushroom. no fries, no bacon flavor or smokiness. Chili Cheese Fries were was so small for $12 and way too sweet that I felt like I was having desert. I was so excited about this place but the its way overprice for what you get. I will stick with Veggie grill."
"Ordered chicken brocoli Alfredo for 18 dollars. It arrived and I was shocked at the portion. I'm talking a small bowl full, if that. The serving size for a 4th grader. Also, the chicken is not fresh. It's lole tyson frozen bagged chicken. Truly astonishing experience. My goodness. It was also bland. No flavor."

"The desert, campfire brownies, was merely good. That was the ONLY quibble of the evening. Ambiance? Impeccably glamorous, down to the textured walls, but still a bit cheeky and fun due to the speakeasy style entrance. Cocktails? Complex, interesting, and strong Bijou, SVD, Espresso Martini, and Irish Coffee were all on point. Service? Attentive without being overbearing, team service at it's best. Steaks? Both the Ribeye and NY strip were perfectly cooked and meltingly delicious, enhanced by the herbed butter served on top and the house demiglace. Bone marrow? Just perfect, the onion jam is the right counterpoint to its richness. Mac and Cheese? On point. Bread and butter? The butter... how do they make something as simple as seasoned whipped butter this magical... who cares, they just do, just eat it. It's not a cheap dinner but isn't at all overpriced for what it is. This place is a gem, you should make a reservation today."

"Figaro 's is the type of family run local business that makes a neighborhood a community. They really are a pillar of the Leather District (a tiny and overlooked section of downtown that is low-key the one of the best neighborhoods in the city). The sandwiches and salads are fantastic and huge. I haven 't found a better meatball sub anywhere in Boston, and the Whitey is the best buffalo chicken wrap I 've had. My favorite though is their homemade focaccia rolls, which they make every now and then as a special. If you see them on the special board, get it with whatever they are serving on it! They also do great steak and cheeses and italian subs, of many different varieties. Make sure you check this place out!"
