"Me and my friend decided to stop into Miss Phay for a quick lunch. The atmosphere in Miss Phay is possibly the best in the QC, and it is very welcoming. They keep it very clean inside of the restaurant. We got our orders taken quickly, and got our food in a good time. We both ordered spicy pad thai and it was amazing yet again. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area."

"Unseasoned food. Very very very bland, I could go on forever telling you how bland the food is. I believe this restaurant is more catered torwads the elder Caucasians if I must say."

"This restaurant is the finest in the Quad Cities. The environment is exquisite. No loud noise. Elegant surroundings. The service is excellent and the food is consistently wonderful. Ruthie's is a return to the pleasant dining experience of years gone by. It helps that the room has carpet, a ceiling, tablecloths and upholstered seating; one of the few restaurants that doesn't feel like a barn or warehouse. The view at sunset is a bonus. Five stars from me."

"This is the best olive garden i have ever been to, and probably one of the best sit-down restaurants I've been to. The food is delicious- but the service is what makes this place stand out. I have had three servers here, and all of them have been incredibly friendly. They have great conversations with us, treat us like friends, and are super fast with any request we have. This olive garden has the best staff."

"Food tasted good but servoce is lacking. For someone to go there for the first time it's confusing. No one gives you any indication that they are a full service restaurant and that they have a menu different from the hot food you're able to see."

"Almost everything was phenomenal, however, our server told us the crab legs would be $120…erm once we got the bill…they were $300. They were not very good, overcooked and rubbery, very salty…but i know crab season is tough right now so it may be no fault of their own, I would just highly advise against ordering them at this time! And double check the price, we were blown away when we got the bill. Nonetheless, steak, sides, drinks, appetizers and desserts were to die for as always, head chef was so friendly, and our server was great! Definitely recommend, but stay away from the crab legs!"

"We were in town to explore and were trying hard to find a bar and grill that was dog friendly, and weren't having much luck. Thanks to Facebook, we were recommended Ruby's! We sat outside, where they had a ton of tables, even a volleyball and pickleball court! They had dog bowls for water, a great selection of cold beer, and the food was great! We got the ball bearing appetizer and buffalo chicken wrap, which came with fries. All very good! Definitely a nice place for the area."

"At the suggestion of a friend, who knew I was taking a road trip to Monterey, this was a good place to pop in for a nosh on the way and boy, she was not kidding ! I have driven by here a 100 times and never stopped and now I will always make it a point to stop. My friend and I popped in about 1:00 PM for a bite and chose the B,L,T Avocado and fries. (Menu is quite extensive and very reasonably priced) Serving was plentiful enough to split, which we did, though it was so good I kind of wanted it keep it all to myself. But this along with a cold beverage fit the gullet just right. Our server Curtis, was so much fun and knew his 'cold beverages ', we thoroughly enjoyed spending an hour here before hitting the road again. On our way back from Monterey, we thought, I wonder if Curtis is working tonight, so let 's pop in again and get a nosh before finishing the drive back to San Francisco. Bingo, Curtis was there and even remembered us. We had a good giggle about our trip (it was a surprise to my friend for his Birthday) and this time we had the fried Calamari, which again was plentiful and so fresh and had both rings and legs (that 's what I call them). Not a bit of grease on the plate and certainly nothing left when we were done. The entire staff was upbeat, fun and well informed about their food options and were even honest about 'what they did not recommend ', which I completely appreciated. They have outside seating, which is very inviting on a nice day with views of the Ocean. Pastries look 'to die for ', but both times we were too full to indulge, next time ! Next time you are in the area and wondering if you 'should or shouldn 't stop ' STOP!!!!"

"The Bourbon BBQ burger was fresh, cooked to order, delicious and juicy. Fries are fresh-cut and fried perfectly. Both very good portions of food. On the SMALL BITES menu we shared the Jalapeno firecracker. Also very fresh peppers. Mixed reviews between my husband and I. He didn't like the fact it was wrapped in an egg roll form. However I could have eaten them all. Lol Very clean restaurant Service: Dine in"

"Work has been a bit more rough these past few weeks to the point that by the time Friday hit I needed a drink. It had been more than a month since I'd gone to a nearby establishment in the Village with a good friend and work colleague, during which we'd talked about going to Brew in the future. About midday we talked about it again and decided to go that night. Success drinks and food would cap off the week! Located on the corner of 11th Street and Jersey Ridge Road, Brew occupies a space that is both comfortable and convenient within the wider ecosystem of the Village of East Davenport. Its corner location makes it easy to access by foot from either the West or North. Though too cold for use in early March, the patio along Jersey Ridge Road is large and looks great with the ironwork fence and string lighting. A return visit is definitely in order when warmer months come back around. The ironwork is a feature that also speaks to the historic nature of the establishment. Prominently displayed along the Eastern facing facade of the building is an old sign for the building' s previous tenant Boyler's Blacksmith Shop and Ornamental Iron Works. Homage to the place's past use is also present throughout the interior, which is decorated in part with other signs, blacksmithing tools, and horseshoes. While the historic preservation is a great feature of the space, Brew also has many of the trappings of its current beer and gastropub owners. Signs and stickers of a variety of local craft beers dot the space. Available seating includes both bar and numerous high top tables in the interior. The ceiling area is open, with HVAC ductwork, steel supports, and conduit visible to any glancing upward. Lighting for the space is provided from a number of sources. Incandescent bulbs or bulbs made to have their appearance line the space in both fixtures attached to the numerous ceiling fans and those suspended separately from the ceiling. Accent strips provide additional lighting to the area behind the bar. The lighting is further augmented by a great choice of coloring in the space, as well. In particular, the red brick walls are unpainted or altered as such, while the ceiling is painted or otherwise colored black. This helps keep the lighting level lower. Further aiding in the overall comfort of the space is the ambient noise level. I'm usually a little wary of spaces with uncovered or un dampened ceiling plenums, which tend to amplify the music and chatter in the space to uncomfortable, cacophonous levels. This isn't an issue at Brew, however, owing to both the smaller overall occupancy of the interior and the music in the space kept to a lower level that people don't have to talk over. I appreciate this aspect of the space and am really glad it works. For food our group got a soft pretzel and bruschetta for appetizers, both of which were fabulous. The soft pretzel came with a few dips, including both a spicy mustard and raspberry mustard, both of which I enjoyed. For entrees, my friend and his wife split a vegetable flatbread, while I got a bowl of the coconut curry lentil soup. While I think I may have been partially lead to soup (they both mentioned it at least a dozen times) this ended up being a great choice. I like a good lentil soup, and this was enjoyable throughout the whole bowl. It was filling, well spiced, and left me satisfied when finished. Brew has a rotating variety of soups, so a return visit for more soup will also have to happen. This is easily one of my new favorite places, both in the Village of East Davenport and the Quad Cities area as a whole. More soups and pretzels are definitely in my future. Thanks, Brew!"

"The best Pho in town, and I tried them all. The broth is sooo savory, the meats cooked to perfection, they even make their chili paste from scratch!Highly recommended for any Pho snobs like myself, you will not leave disappointed or hungry after their large bowl!"

"The Machine Shed has exceptional country decor to make your visit interesting. My waitress was polite, attentive, and did a good job overall. She stopped by often to check on me, but not too often to be a bother. She bought my tasty barnyard punch quickly and accommodated my every need. The food was good and not so good. The bread was very tasty, especially the brown bread. I tried the coleslaw, but it tasted of too much vinegar and not enough sugar. The overcooked vegetables did not have a fresh appearance; I could not finish them. The loaded baked potato was piping hot and good taste but may have been kept warm for too long. I did come towards the end of the evening, so a held over baked potato comes with the timing. My steak was cooked medium rare as requested with only 2 small bits of fat I could not chew. The stuffing and sauce it was tpped with was flavorful and a good combination. Unfortunately, the meat dish should have been warmer to start. All in all, it 's a nice place to grab a tasty dinner. I will come another time and try a sandwich meal. There is a very nice country store in the front of the restaurant with a large variety of decorative and functional items for sale. Mostly kitchen items and gifts."
