"Ein gemütliches Lokal für die warme Jahreszeit, der Außenbereich ist nämlich sehr schön. Den Innenbereich kann ich leider nicht empfehlen, da der schönere und ältere Bereich den Rauchern überlassen wurde (der Stammtisch hat gesiegt), und ein moderner gefliester Anbau den Nichtrauchern. Das Essen schmeckt bisher immer sehr gut, ich empfehle die jugoslawischen Gerichte! Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und fähig.Einziger Nervfaktor ist die relativ laute - weil stark befahrene - Hauptstraße vor dem Lokal."

"We had a lovely evening in this restaurant, sitting outside in their Kartoffelgarten There are several vegan options, mostly potato-based. I had the sweet potato with veggies and a silken tofu and lemon dip. I enjoyed my meal a lot, although I must say that it was not very filling and for the price I had expected a larger portion and more sweet potato. My husband had the roast potatoes with nuts and the same dip, and he liked it a lot, although the meal was a bit small, too. Our highlight was the vegan crème brûlée that we had for dessert. The staff were very friendly, and as I said above, the outdoor seating is very pleasant."

"Came for dinner right at opening and the place filled quickly. We were seated right away. We had bruschetta, margherita pizza, and tiramisu. The bruschetta was flavorful and very tasty. The pizza was pretty good too. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious. Service was great. Positive dining experience!"

"Reihum we tried: spaghetti Aglio/Olio, pizza Funghi and homemade lasagna. Very nice operation (family operation?! My spaghetti were excellent, slightly sharp with fresh pepper pieces, young garlic and fresh parsley, the pizza had a wonderful thin dough with tomato-fresh sauce and balanced proportion of fresh mushrooms and cheese, the lasagna was a baked dream with the same tomato sauce as Bolognese. We had not reserved Sunday night, but got a table and were served quickly. Even if it is not Freiburg City, you can easily reach the restaurant with the tram and do not receive heavy and spicy sauces, but light summer kitchen. The cosy interior completes the cosy family feeling on site."

"This Greek/Mediterranean restaurant is outside the centre of Freiburg but easily reached by the local, very efficient tram and bus network. Food was modern, beautifully presented and good value for money. Service was great friendly and attentive even though there were 2 large...parties in the restaurant which was full for the whole evening. A complementary ouzo with fig (delicious! was the perfect end to our evening."

"we were in sushi rolls for dinner on the 10th august. there are super delicious sushi rolls and summer rolls in many variations. about 1 third of them vegan, even whole vegan menus are on the map. very accommodating and uncomplicated operation and cooking. super price performance ratio. not easy to find because in the backyard; so not directly at habsburgerstrasse 133. tipp: absolutely try california roll with falafel! Unfortunately, for technical reasons we were not able to forgive 5 stars."

"On our journey to the UK stopped in Freiburg and visited The Kantina lively and busy local restaurant . Staff were friendly, engaging and showed a genuine interest in the customers attentive and willing to help spoke German and English. Great salad to start with...followed by schnitzel and chips . Large portion of food also specials on the blackboard that looked inviting from the food that past to other customers . Maurice the manager spoke to us personally nice to have the interaction explaining some of the specials of the day which we will try in the future. Of course good German beer . Will definitely revisit on our next travel through Germany"

"Tried this tapas bar while on holidays, following other reviews on TripAdvisor. The place was fairly busy, however they managed to accommodate us. Great atmosphere and the food is just amazing. We had a selection of tapas, hard to decide which one was the best! I particularly remember the fried aubergine with honey sauce, first time I tried it and so delicious. Prices are very reasonable too. Overall a great experience and definitely a place to visit when in Freiburg."
