"General After work and a short appointment in the city, after an uncomplicated evening snack in the lukewarm spring evening. I remember the Café Shiraz, not yet visited. After 18 UHr there are not many cafes that still offer food, here is pleasantly worked until 7 p.m. Ambience Simply in any way: wooden chairs and tables, laminated DINA5 cards, which is most necessary. In the outdoor area you sit tightly between the wheels on the walkway, usually it is not big. Also here I sat this time, inside was not a single guest in beautiful weather. This has a certain student charm, but I like the small comfort of napkins and not just kitchen paper, I like pretty porcelain and not only the cheap first Studi equipment, as I also like the demand for cutlery. For a quick fladen bread, okay, because I'm supposed to drink more here. Service Two students are responsible for the service, another help is currently being sought. I ordered directly at the counter because I had a bear starving on the one hand, and on the other hand for small girls and needed the locality of a demand. A drink was not offered even though I ordered my food. For this purpose the way to the toilet was declared unrequired (good!, also about the size of the court could be given me information, and my dessert was also brought close. Generally, ladies would have thrown a little more into the stuff. In the Shiraz there is a small menu that captivates with simple roasted bread in various suits, homemade soups, Persian plates with salad, crepe, homemade cakes or brownies. At noon the shop is well brewed, as the cheapest flat bread is already available from 4 euros. Very student! A salad plate would have been too much, so I ordered a hot bread Mozzarella Sucuk (with melted mozzarella, Turkish beef sausage, pesto, leaf salad, cucumber, fresh and dried tomatoes, field salad, olives, yogurt sauce/sharps sauce at € 4.50. After some waiting time, I was served on a white plate with underlaid kitchen paper with a cut-off bread in the paper bag without cutlery. My dinner was hungry! Unfortunately, it was hardly possible to eat like a dungeon without a puff. Please leave the white silk blouse at home! At the end I looked like a pig, now a decent napkin would have been attached. That's why I always did it myself. All ingredients were fresh and distributed in correct amount. Maybe you could have saved the sauce. The pesto gave all this a good note, I did not discover olives for my pleasure. Delicious, but still not. At 7 p.m. I was wondering if I wanted to take a dessert or hot drink. I chose one of the really charming homemade brownies to € 1.50, which I had seen inside. That was the best choice for a long time! Shortly in the microwave, this sweet sin received exactly the consistency between liquid and solid and let me forget every stress. For 1,50 € a secret tip! Cleanliness Due to the favorable orientation everything looks a bit old, the toilet (in the back of the counter right outside, then left into the house, the stairs up and then back right is also old. Everything was clean. Conclusion The institution is far too preliminary and does not call me. The Fladenbrot can also be taken along and offers a good alternative to Döner and Co at a great price. For a Persian salad (with Shami, what I want to try again! or this diabolic brownie I will definitely come back."

"A visit to Göttingen took place on Thursday. I had agreed with the dear Kiwikatze and we had to go to the Gaussskeller before we left. Unfortunately, in October I only have one table on my phone reservation request. Kiwikatze proposed Tokyo as an alternative. So we came to Tokyo at 18:30 and I entered the empty restaurant with the usual kiwicat... (I know 18:30 is too early for a dinner, but I didn't want to stay in Göttingen and had to return the last ICE to Hanover). There was a male service and a sushi boss. Communication with the male service is a bit difficult all night. But I could communicate that I had reserved. We have the most beautiful table in the window. The ambience in Tokyo is similar to the cozy sushi pubs, which can be found especially in the USA. Very nice and with a high feel-good factor – especially when almost all tables were occupied in the evening. Absolute highlight is the fully glazed staircase to the gallery. After looking into the menu it quickly became clear that the name “Tokyo” is somewhat misleading. Although there is a selection of Maki, Nigiri, Rolls, Temaki and even Sashimi, there are no other Japanese dishes – but some Korean: Kimchi and Bulgogis and typical “Chinese”, such as duck in peanut sauce. So I would call Tokyo a Panasian restaurant. Our order: for the lady a guava juice and for me a Kirin! Both came moderate, but with a certain waiting period. Unfortunately also a German beer on the map: Krombacher... L The dishes: Kiwikatze chose a Gyoza soup with vegetables and tofu in dough bag as an appetizer and beef with vegetables as main food. I ordered California Rolls with avocado and salmon and pork Bulgogi as main food – one of my favorite foods from the time I was still working for a large Korean group. Kiwikatze was happy about her soup. My roles came very traditional and somewhat too warm. It was good. Wasabi, ginger and radishes were minimally portioned, but high quality. After a longer waiting period, the main dishes. Beef with vegetables looked very good and tasted so. But my Bulgogi was disappointing. A small part of the pork was hidden under many onions and carrots. But with another Kirin, I also have to pay for 13.90... Shame give a price-performance draw. If I'm looking for the map again, Desserts asked for a certain waiting period the bill... We could settle this and instead get the cards back. The dessert selection was unfortunately weak, so we agreed on 2 glasses Riesling. They came well cooled. After 3.5 hours it was unfortunately also time to break up again. I asked about the bill and naturally wanted to pay with the card that “don’t go”. All in all, it was a beautiful evening that was mainly due to my beautiful companion – whether I would go back to Tokyo, I don't know."

"On the way home from the Saarland we have again in Göttingen Station the relationship on the way can be quite beautiful... . Hotel Rennschuh with the Gasthaus Rennschuh, which I still knew as an “iron pan”, is located in the throw distance from the highway and are therefore ideal for a stopover. After we took our room and packed out the most important utensils, we went down again. At the reception we learned that despite the rainy weather, the way over the farm would not be saved. But we could shorten and enter the inn from behind. When we reached the kitchen entrance, we were kindly greeted by a waiter, guided into the three-quarter restaurant and discreetly accompanied to a free table. It will have been the same employee, because already Mrs Kiwikatze mentioned in her assessment, the humorous comments came here. We hardly had room when he had the menus and asked for our drinks. The drinks ordered were then served in a very short time. Also later in the course of our stay he was always attentive and friendly and explained the change from the Eisenpfanne to the Gasthaus Rennschuh “I could rebuild in four weeks...” A younger colleague who almost exclusively brought the food to the tables was just as friendly but somewhat less communicative. We felt very comfortable here. Food The restaurant serves German cuisine at reasonable prices, the menu can be found on the restaurant's homepage: [here link] After brief consideration, Madame ordered “Cordon Bleu, plus Pommes Frites and Salat” €11.90. I chose the “Holsteiner Schnitzel with fried egg, bacon, green beans and roast potatoes” (11.90 €). As a drink we chose a Bardolino Rose 0.2l for € 3.60 . The wine was served shortly afterwards and proved to be good tempting and tasty. Salad for Madame was served in advance and consisted of white wort, cucumber slices, tomatoes, corn grains, carrots and leaf salad, with a light yogurt dressing. A little later, the plates were brought with the main dishes. The Cordon Bleu with French fries saw a bit lost on the plate, just decorated with a few lemon slices and a bouquet of parsley. The frits were hot and crispy, the meat tender and qualitatively perfect as usual I had to take care of the rest of their part. The Holsteiner Schnitzel was, even if the writing had the impression of the plate of her partner, not too fat, but for my feeling exactly right fat is finally a flavor carrier. The meat was also very good, tender and juicy. Of course, the breakdown had absorbed a quantum fat, but it did not smell fat, as little as the roast potatoes. The bacon disc as a tasteful counterpart to the beans was also ok, for me there was nothing to migrate about this food, it was deculent, rustic and simply delicious. Ambiente The restaurant is located in a newly built building a little closer to the street than the hotel. As far as the interior is concerned, I refer to the detailed previous review. The red-brown, square floor tiles were laid diagonally, and there were furniture with dark wooden frames. The chairs were covered with dark brown artificial leather, on the bottom plates of the tables lay sets of brown croco leather imitation, the seats were partly covered with napkins, cutlery and appetizer plates. There was also a flower on each table in a metal vase, a tealight in a glass lamp and a pepper mill with integrated salt shaker. Cleanliness The dining room was well maintained and clean, even with glasses, plates and cutlery there was no reason to complain. We haven't visited the toilets."

"I have to say: no, that is not lacking. No, it's not a friesfrett stinking bude. yes, it is not entirely what you expect to go into a Greek restaurant:wood tones instead of lime, wooden tables instead of white cover and paper napkins instead of table decoration - and yet Greek music in the background. I was with a friend eating and we were the only people in the restaurant, it was a Monday evening. the service was extremely friendly, very accommodating and rather inconspicuous in the background. no eternal question and no eternal smoker breaks before the door. everything as I would feel comfortable. We ordered a grill plate that was apparently a bit swirled. instead of gyros, souvlaki and bifteki (grill plate one person) there were chicken fillet, souvlaki and bifteki (theoretically half a grill plate for several people). we both felt this as not bad and rejoiced about the food: well made rice, very well roasted meat and nice spices. otherwise you get something more furdry when smelling. everything was extremely juicy. now, unfortunately, eating was rather sweet and also the herb salad that was added was more in order than totally delicious. After our two beer and eating there was for us the obligatory (very good) ouzo after the offer of the waiter and we left both with approx. 20€ less the place.Factory: delicious food, super service - and unfortunately the invite makes the impression a little hot-smooth guided to be. but who cares about the paper deck when you feel extremely comfortable all night and we felt that there - we felt very comfortable."
