"After eating some so-so seafood, we asked some locals where they went to get great seafood and they all said Harbor House Seafood at Hatteras Village. THEY WERE RIGHT!!! We got there late on a Saturday afternoon not long before they closed but there was no hesitation to take our order. The owner is an absolute delight-so friendly and welcoming. She made some suggestions and we got crab, shrimp, clams in the shell, hush puppies, clam strips and all the fixin's (delicious homemade cocktail sauce, clarified butter, homemade shrimp dip and homemade yellow fin tuna salad). Everything was fantastic. It will be my first stop when I go back. She cooks everything for you but you have to take it to go because there is no place to eat there. You will not find fresher, tastier seafood in the Outer Banks!"
