"We made a last minute decision to go here for dinner are so glad we did! The atmosphere is casual inviting; as we walked in, the owner said they were short-staffed asked for patience but you would've never known if he hadn't mentioned it. The staff, from cooks to servers, were fantastic! Our waiter was top notch...attentive accommodating. And the food? The food was absolutely delicious! There were four in our party everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything they ordered. I am so glad I took the waiter's suggestion to get the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake to-go. It was phenomenal!! Love supporting small, family businesses. Keep up the good work...your parents would be proud."

"After dining at numerous restaurants during our frequent visits to Hatteras over the past three years, we finally decided to try Dinkys Restaurant for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, it is the best restaurant we have experienced so far. I ordered the Duck and Rockafella Oysters, and they were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience! Service was great and the waitress very sweet! "The food was pretty good and it's a good option for lunch. We placed our order over the phone and it took about 30 minutes, which was a bit longer than expected. The sandwiches were delicious overall and the fries were well-seasoned, though a bit too crispy. Like many places in the area, it is on the expensive side (2 sandwiches and an appetizer cost $30)."
