"I have been a patron of this establishment for a few years now. The ladies at the front desk are always professional. The owner of the establishment (male) the husband, he is very respectful, profesional and kind. He reminds me of my uncle back in my island who is strict and we all respect him but is kind.One time I purchased 3 of the bitters and he took the time to explain and how to drink them and in which order. I purchased the jackfruit meal and I asked that it be not so spicy and he explained that it was already mixed and the level of spice could not be toned down. He suggested the brown jackfruit stew, I think that’s the name. After that it’s my favorite dish and I order it often. When I feel like something spicy I go back to the Jack fruit meal.They also have a point system, I am not sure how it works because I do door dash and pick it up myself so I could never qualify for the points.The last time I was there, the young lady greeted me, and almost right away my order was ready. While I waited for my order I took out my camera to take pictures the female owner came out and greeted a couple that was sitting there enjoying their meal. She did not greet me, I asked her if she wanted to be in the picture she responded by asking me twice how I am doing in a demanding manner and I said perfect both times. She said she would be getting out of the way as not to come out in the pictures.Overall this place is good, but the service is very important. The owners one of them is very friendly and the staff are very friendly and professional as well. I go there all the way from Jupiter, there is a well known Vegan and organic restaurant in my area I eat most from because it is organic. I love my Caribbean people and our food, however, hospitality is important.I would recommend it for the food, you won’t feel “home” but my husband and I have online dined in twice, I do take out mostly, so it’s fine. "Babels Lake Worth catered our Shiva on Friday September 22, 2023 and they did an outstanding job. Everything was packed and put together so beautifully. We ordered an assortment of wraps and overstuffed sandwich platters all of which were excellent. The platters came with side salads and we had potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw and Nancy (the owner) threw in the cucumber salad. The side salads were delicious as was all of the sandwiches and wraps. In addition we ordered the party fruit platter which was enormous and so beautifully decorated. It says it's for about 15-20 but it was more than enough for our 35 people with so much left over. We also ordered the danish platter and it was very yummy as well. I highly recommend Bagels for all of your catering needs. I live in NY and have never eaten inside the restaurant but I definitely will next time I'm in Lake Worth. I also want to mention the customer service and staff at Bagels is truly the best. Everyone was extremely helpful and never made me feel rushed or like I was and inconvenience. I called numerous times with changes and additions and they were all very accommodating and wonderful."

"It's hard to determine a star value for this restaurant because the food was good and the server was friendly and attentive. However, on my most recent visit (Sat., 1/2/21) the downside so far outweighed the upside that I will not return. There were two sushi chefs who were not wearing masks and a bartender who was not wearing a mask, either. The sushi chefs were separated from their patrons by the height of the cooler that their fish was stored in, but the unmasked bartender was in close contact with his unmasked patrons. The waitress wore her mask below her nose, and there was no signage posted to state that facial coverings and social distancing is required by law. I questioned the waitress as to whether there was a mask requirement and she said she did not know of one. Just for the record, Palm Beach County ordinances require that all restaurant personnel wear facial coverings over both their mouths and noses, and all restaurants are required to post signage stating the masking and social distancing requirements. It is unconscionable that an employee would not be informed of the legal requirements. I was really disappointed because this used to be a place I frequented often. They've recently installed new tables with burners at each seat in order to add hot pot to their already extensive menu. Hot pot is one of my favorites and I would have loved to patronize this establishment, but I am so disappointed by their lack of regard for the health of their patrons and their staff that I will not return until either this pandemic is over or I find out that the restaurant is complying with county Covid regulations."

"I ordered veal milanese. The veal was tender and the salad was crunchy with a perfect amount of dressing. The portion was large. My friend ordered the chicken meatballs with escarole and beans. It came with 2 large meatballs and a nice amount of the escarole and beans. Although it was an appetizer, it was perfect as a main dish. The server was excellent. She was friendly and helpful. We sat in the glass enclosed room. It was bright and comfortable."
