"Was passing through Parkersburg at lunchtime, so I thought I'd try this place out. The place is T I N Y, but don't let that deter you. If you're more than two people, it's going to be cozy. I decided to eat in my car since it was lunch time. Based on the rating, I was OK with the 10 minute wait. After all, it's one guy. Honestly the best gyro I've had, and best falafel I've had. Wow. Veggies were cool and crispy and seasoned well, the pita was charred lightly from thegrill, and that sauce was just fantastic. Heavy on the dill and spices. Falafels were warm, crunchy and heavily seasoned...SO good. He didn't skimp on them either.. The little crumbles of feta were a nice touch. Just all around great interms of texture and flavors. Gyro King indeed! I WILL be coming back here."

"Shogun’s one of my favorite sushi places in Parkersburg! The food’s amazing and tastes close to the authentic sushi you get in Japan. I love getting sushi sashimi from them. They’re much less pricey than Fusion but the quality in their food are almost the same!"

"I was staying at the hotel next-door and wanted to grab a light supper before calling it a day. Upon entering, I was promptly greeted by my waitress Annie who sat me and took my order. The food came out quickly, I had a club sandwich with a side salad. The sandwich was delicious and the salad was crisp and fresh. This establishment seems to be popular with guest as it was around 9 o’clock in the evening and customers we’re still coming in for service. All in all, this was a good experience. The dining room was clean."

"I have worked for Red Lobster for years and the food was disgraceful. I 've always been a huge fan but now I doubt I 'll ever step foot in one again. My salad was odds and ends of old romaine. The cheese was all at the bottom. I ordered a $32 plate and the lobster tail came to the table grey and was upside down. The shrimp was barely warm and the tails were scattered in the butter sauce that was burnt along the edges of the dish. The broccoli was carelessly scattered around with lots of negative space around the dish. We raised our concerns to the manager and she started to argue with us asking, well, is it missing anything?? But, our concern was the plate temperature, ITS SEAFOOD and I 'm pregnant, and the messy presentation. She eventually just scratched the bill and we left, but not without her insisting we just eat the food anyways, despite my concerns. Pitiful. I 'm surprised this place is even allowed to be open. Darden should be ashamed and so should their manager."

"We had such a great meal! My husband and I were visiting my home town and only had two hours to see them. We decided lunch made the most sense. When my dad recommended Applebee's. I thought he had lost his mind. A chain restaurant? I'm so glad he mentioned it. The service was great. The food was all hot, fresh, and correct. The server made great recommendations and everything went so well. We won't hesitate to go back to this location. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed it."

"My husband and I went out to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The service was very slow and the food was even worse. We both ordered the special, a Delmonico ribeye steak. My husband ordered his steak medium and came out rare/medium rare. Our server never came back and checked on us or to check how our food was. Finally he came back and we told him our steaks weren’t cooked right and asked to speak to the manager. The manager came over and agreed that the steaks weren’t cooked right and said sorry and walked away. We paid full price for something that wasn’t cooked right or edible with no offer to remake or discount our food. Very disappointing night for a special occasion. We will never be back."

"The chicken curry at this restaurant in Parkersburg is truly outstanding, especially considering the price and portion size. It was so delicious that I had to update my review. I also agree with another review I read about the atmosphere, which is top-notch in Parkersburg. The lighting and music (jazz, piano, easy listening) create a great ambiance, and even when the dining room is full, it never feels too loud. While I usually stick to veggie sushi, I highly recommend trying the ochinika roll (pickled radish) for anyone looking for a new sushi experience. This restaurant has become my favorite in town, thanks to their consistently exceptional curry dishes."

"Had an amazing Valentine's Dinner there tonight! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was on point. To be honest, I was shocked at how great the dinner was tonight....it was of a quality I would not have expected. Hats off to the chef!"

"eating was good as usual. I have to try the filet medaillen comes with rice and two sides delicious. service could have been better. sa with empty glasses for the half of our meal. server not where to be found and never brought us condiments and such when he was asked to be delivered as a food. update: I would have said something, but as I said that no server could be found, no manager table checks in any of the section in which I was, no one was to tell about my experience, so if they had responded to my review texas roadhouse maybe they had to read the whole thing, where there was no one to complain that manager did what their work would have done and table checks would have done that. it is their task to ensure good food good customer service and a friendly atmosphere, it is not my task to chase them again, the eating was great, but the service sucked. many thanks to texas roadhouse for their answer, but I feel that their answer only proved how the customer service does not on par."

"The service was awesome, our waiter was funny attentive and personable, and even though the food took a little longer than normal, it was still fantastic. Everything was as ordered even though my mom and I both had special requests for our meals. We even ate outside on the patio for the first time because they were kind of busy inside, and it was a really clean and relaxing atmosphere."

"I rarely write reviews but this was one of the worst pizzas and wings I’ve ever had. I ordered a 6 cut Sicilian and it was not fresh by any means. 4 of the slices were from the same pizza and the other 2 slices came from 2 other pizzas. It tasted old and I didn’t even finish a slice. If you like “Buffalo” wings, you’ll be disappointed, there was no sauce on the wings. They tasted plain but had a weird spice to them. The only thing good was the delivery driver and the fountain Pepsi, surprised that wasn’t flat…. I was hoping to like this place especially with the great reviews but was very disappointed."

"Food was good, tried the buffet. If you are paying in cash be sure to pay attention when your change is being returned as it could be a little short. Perhaps the register does not give the total amount owed back to the customer. I left it alone as I planned on leaving a tip anyway when I was done. Since my change back was off by four dollars I did not leave a tip on the table upon completion of my lunch. Restaurant was clean and comfortable."

"The staff and service at the Parkersburg location was exceptional and very accommodating. A large number of family had come in town for an unfortunate family emergency and we needed a place to eat very last minute. They very quickly accommodated our large party and went out of their way to get our orders out to us quickly. Without a doubt the best team in town and best experience I've had at an Olive Garden. Cannot thank them enough."

"full müll. have to wait 15 minutes to be sitting and where only 6 tables are used! they sat us from a huge table where they sit for a party. the floors where terrible, because they do not clean regularly. we have made a simple order. comes out wrong and cold. does not come back completely and again the big table was not yet there. Finally we go to pay and a waitress says someone will be in a short time with them. bob. evans should ask you how everything was from the cassian who turned out to be a terrible man who was the manager. where, as if they weren't asking about our experience, we had advised how was it? he threw him what happened, didn't want anything free ursache could tap the waitress without the card. he was like nope on us and goes on to say that the Huve table has simply appeared without warning, I said why they would lie as we have observed to put the table together. then he starts screaming at me because he pays for your food. my wife had to get me out before there was a bigger scene."

"I brought my friend to eat, I told her how good their spaghetti were. So we ordered spaghetti and meatballs the dishes came in the contemporary way when we went to cut our meatballs, they were frozen so naturally we sent the waitress back and bring us new dishes and they were hot. but someone has made the recipe since the last time I was there and had spaghetti because the spaghetti sauce was tasteless blande the meatballs were not bad after they cooked them, but the whole dish was terrible and when the cash register asked how our evening was I told her it was not good, and she smiled and said I did it so sorry for her not to believe"

"The service was good and when I left, it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant itself is bright and colourful. The menu is quite typical of a Mexican restaurant. The food is very expensive and so are the drinks. The food tasted good and was nicely prepared. It wasn't as hot as I liked, but that was good and nothing to beat. I wish there was a little more cheese in the Taco, but it was still delicious. The Tamaleen and Enchiladas tasted great. I loved it that there was a way to have cheese on the Burritos, but I didn't know it was an extra cost, but it's worth it. The margaritas are good. The Pina Colada was made of a mix, but I thought it tasted good. I also had the mango that almost tasted like a fresh mango. I also got dessert and was very happy with it. It tasted great. I have the banana that had covered a ball of ice cream slices of bananas and strawberries with chocolate and caramel sauce. There were also Dessert Tortilla chips covered in cinnamon. The chips are similar to the bowl come in some deep fried ice creams. The dessert was probably my favorite part, just because it was something new I didn't have before. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I just wish there were more seafood options and dishes with actual crabs in them. A blue crab meat Chimichanga would be brilliant. But besides my desire for more seafood, so place was worth the visit and time. I want to come back while I'm in this area to enjoy more of the delicious food and drinks."

"Very disappointed Monday 12-13-21 ordered pitcher of margaritas rocks no salt... Pitcher came to us half frozen half on rocks. TRY to pour a frozen margarita out of a pitcher full of ice. Ordered loaded queso. Was very good but ran out of chips and couldn't find ANYONE to get more. They were all gathered at a tv watching football! I literally had to knock stuff off table to get anyone's attention."
