"The BEST clam chowder I've ever had. I grew up going here on trips to Pismo beach, but moved cross country. Was in town with my family and got to take them to try the goodness that is Splash cafe. Getting there was insane due to the car show, and the wait was long, but it was worth it all for clam chowder in a bread bowl. (My photo doesn't do it justice because I had to get it to go and it was a hike back to where we were staying. The chowder is creamy, full of potatoes and clams, and flavorful. The bread bowl is delicious and they give your the scooped out bread too BONUS! Toasted and with butter, dipped in the clam chowder perfection. We also had fried shrimp and chips and a chicken sandwich (picky kids , and they were also tasty and good value for money. Definitely returning anytime I am in town, and brought a Splash cafe mug back cross country for the memories."
