"This place is one of best Mexican food restaurants in south county that offers a tradition taste with personality. I started off with an appetizer of calamari strips with their special sauce which left my tongue tingling with delight. Their Mexican shrimp (GIANT and THICK like a Cuban cigar) with jalapeños and wrapped in bacon are out of this world and they don't hold back on portion size. It was a wonderful meal. We tried this place for the first time on a rainy day in November. The food was great! When you order an entree they start with an awesome homemade salsa and chips. Then every order includes a cup of soup, today was albondigas, so very good and hot for a rainy day! We had tacos, enchiladas and tamales, all very good, moist and flavorful. The rice and pintos are homemade and very fresh. They top off their wonderful meals with complimentary scoop of vanilla ice cream, carmel drizzle and churro pieces. Definitely going back!
