"The initial impression of the restaurant was uncomfortable and quite sad. A group of snobby 16-year-old girls were standing at the door in tight white clothes and sneakers, showing greed towards the guests. Their behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional. It was disappointing to see such young girls in that position, as it sets a bad example for others. The lack of proper greeting and attire almost made us leave, despite our love for the food and drinks at the restaurant. The staff at the door need to be properly trained on how to welcome guests with a smile and proper manners. The rude behavior at the front door left a negative impression on us and has caused us to not want to return. It is a shame that such behavior is allowed to ruin the overall experience, despite the great food and service provided by the waiting staff. We regret spending our money at this establishment and will not be returning in the future."

"it tastes pretty good, but when I ordered it from ubereats, all my toppings came apart and I am usually very tiny containers, I had to build my own product and I had a good amount of toppings. also I had dinge like honey and peanut sauce, which came in tiny tiny keepers and was quite hard to press into my yogurt; the cocosnus could also have been in a larger container. I was not aware that they did not abandon the toppings or I would have selected another selection and less toppings. that was my first time I ever went there, so I'd say it's okay."

"The highlight of our dining experience was our server, who was exceptional. However, aside from that, the rest of our meal left much to be desired. We came for a Mother's Day prix fixe 4-course meal and had one of the first reservations. Although we were seated fairly quickly at a table for 3, there were significant delays in receiving our courses. After waiting for our second course for an extended period of time, we were told that it would not be served until the restaurant had finished collecting plates from the first course. When our second course finally arrived, it was cold. The entrée followed about 45-50 minutes later, also cold. Despite being seated for almost 2 hours, we were only halfway through the meal. When I requested a box to take the remaining food home, I was informed that it was against the restaurant's policy. When I questioned this, I received a dismissive response indicating that leftover food is given to the staff and then potentially to the homeless. This response was unsatisfactory and unsettling. The quality of the food was below average and overall our experience was disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to others."

"The food at this restaurant is always great, but the best part is the consistently friendly and helpful server. I am not sure if his name is Jackson or Jason, but he went out of his way to help me find my house when it was hard to locate. This level of customer service is one of the main reasons I continue to order from this place. Additionally, he is never pushy about upselling, which I appreciate compared to some Chinese food restaurants. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for good food and excellent service."

"Very cheap lunch, decent food, but boring atmosphere. The interior is outdated which is okay. Everything costs money and I understand that but there wasn 't any music playing during my visit. This made my experience boring to a point where I became sleepy. But it was a slow day towards the end of lunch hours and my table was basically one of the couple that were occupied. The staff being bored out of their minds as this place is almost empty got my food out very quickly which is important. Trust me, I 've been to a couple places where it 's dead but still took ages for my food to arrive. Bento boxes here are a little different from the ones I 've had elsewhere. Elsewhere usually has a protein of choice, rice, shumai, sometimes tempura and a basic roll. Here at Asahi they had hibachi noodles (slightly bland purposely as you are supposed to mix with the sauce and protein, just a heads up) white rice, protein of choice, California Roll, $2 tempura option, and diced pineapple from a can. Like what? Canned pineapple for dessert I guess! In their defence, my Beef Teriyaki Bento Box was $7.95 which is a few dollars cheaper than most other places. Also comes with soup and salad btw. So yes I am a fan of the prices, the meal was filling and like I said the food is decent, nothing amazing but nothing bad either. Just something passable for cheap lunch that would put a slight smile on my face. The staff was very friendly too, everyone seemed very nice. Oh right! I ordered sushi! Spicy Salmon and Spicy Crabmeat which were good as well, I notice they were on the drier side if you no what I mean but I 'm not complaining, super cheap for two rolls at lunch. My experience was so boring that I forgot I had sushi! I 'm joking, but this was a very forgettable experience for me but being a local around here as it took 5 minutes to get here, this place is good enough to be an option for me considering the prices. 3 Stars from a local, no way I 'd drive 30 minutes for this place. But that 's just my experience, hopefully things go uphill from here."

"I’m so glad to find a salad bar nearby with so many vegan options. Everything was delicious and fresh! I had a half salad with romaine, beets, corn, scallions, tomatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, black beans, avocado, pepperoncini, and tofu, all topped with spicy Thai peanut dressing. I also enjoyed a vegan grilled cheese sandwich and a tomato basil soup with vegan fries. I can’t wait to go back!"

"Another lovely visit. Our second trip back during a business trip to South Brunswick. The service was outstanding as always. The Calamari is highly recommended. The fried chicken received rave reviews from my coworker. I had the rabbit which was also very good. A very nice cocktail and wine list for those that imbibe. Highly recommended if you are in the area!"

"This was it first time here and we were a party of five. The fact the restaurant is in a 3 story house adds to it's charm but the service and food were on point. We sat at a small cove near the bar and one of the bartenders took care of us. He was great. We never had to ask for refills and he checked on us often to make sure we were ok. We had an issue with one of our entrees and he went above and beyond to make up for it. I can't wait to go back."

"Iquisine recently catered for my birthday party. I wanted a British pub themed dinner and they worked very closely with me to deliver what I requested... Shepherds Pie, Chicken Pot pie, Steak and Mushroom pie and even a Vegan/lactose and gluten free 'shepherds ' pie. Everything tasted fantastic. I appreciated their attention to detail and Jill was so helpful and patient. Each dish came in a lovely ceramic dish perfect presentation for a birthday party and gave it that homemade touch too! They were even able to deliver to my home. Will not hesitate to use them again. Thank you Iquisine!"

"I watch here on a Tuesday night for Happy Hour with some friends and was thrilled to try this new place! I saw it from the street and they had a large parking space available. Happy Hour is only in the bar area, but this is good as there are many seats at the bar and high tables. They had beer and beverage specialties $2 off beer, $5 wines, $6 cocktails) and a large amount of food. Tuesdays were also half price wine bottles! Our server was really friendly and attentive and our food came out quite quickly. Everything was very good, especially the raw bar. I'll say I wish the roasted chickpeas had a little more salt, but they were still good. In addition, I think that the chicken taco was a bit small for $3, but again it was still good. Overall, I would recommend a visit!"
