"After an afternoon exploring Schilliger garden centre we were hungry and looking for an early dinner. We explored the internet and decided to book Bistro at Quai 1 with open minds and a small sense of adventure. The restaurant is right next to the station at the end of a small street with parking. We ate in the garden terrace, which is simple and naturally shaded with trees. The garden is quiet and private but from a distance you can mark the passing time from the sound of the trains. To begin with I had the Thai Salad which was excellent Spicy and fresh very enjoyable. My wife had melon with granite de Melon and Parma ham which apart from being tasty and fresh, was a little too big for her which is an advantage for me! An excellent start. The mains were also good we both had the Entrecôte de boeuf Parisian, correctly cooked as ordered tasty and juicy!! Served with locally sourced vegetables and wine. For desert we shared a raspberry and pistachio tart. A good finish to a tasty meal. An ideal place for a romantic meal or eating with family and friends. Great food in a simple setting with friendly service!"
