"In the Hotel Seehus opened in 2014, we were now for the second time, but this year only 1x for dinner at the hotel’s restaurant “Kliff”, which is not only accessible to hotel guests. Access is accessible from the promenade. On the second evening of our short trip to the Baltic Sea we went back to the “Climate” – the memories of the two evenings in October 2014 were very positive. It was reserved for 19:00, on arrival and after friendly welcome, a lady of the service led us to the table, which was located in the separate dining area right at the front window in a kind of bay. The ambience is in the main area rustikal maritim, with wooden tables and matching chairs, on which there are some deco salt pepper mills. In the dinner area, the tables are more finely covered. Tablecloth, fabric napkins, floral decoration, small wind light, a pepper mill and a matching salt shaker with adjustable dosing openings. The chairs are rotatable, in style of small armchairs, more comfortable than they look. Compared to October 2014, the menus received another good presentation. A male colleague took care of the table, immediately handed over the menus and a wine card. One day recommendation was not pronounced, there is a separate daily ticket, especially with asparagus dishes, because season. We answered the question of a beverage request with the order of a bottle of mineral water, medium-fine-perfect, from the Magnus-Feder Norderstedt, 0.75 to 6.30 €. This is good for my taste, but it is better – the Magnus has, how should I describe it, a slightly bitter aftertaste. As aperitif we ordered two glass of champagne gosset, 0.1 f. 8.90 €, both brought a short time to our table, but still before the drinks a white bread baked raw material with butter found the way to our table, airy and cherry, with butter and salt this always goes. Here too a positive change to the last visit – there was no champagne on the map at the time. From the map we had chosen the following foods: a beef Consommé from the table top 8.50€ for my better half, with truffle clones 3 , much delicate beef dice and even smaller cubed vegetables carrot, celery, Kohlrabi . For me there were also soup – oh apologies – a curry saffron brew with a well-sized piece on the point roasted red-bellied fillets and melons “balls” €9.50 . Very well tasted, spicy, with a sweet note through the melons inlay. Very delicious! For dinner we had a Sauvignon blanc Vervus, South Africa, 2014, the Fl. f. 22,00 €, a light, fresh wine, very good to eat, with beautiful notes of citrus fruits. And of course for me: a conversation! Whenever I can't decide at the appetizer...Variation of the North and Baltic Sea €15.50: very mild, buttery matjes, homemade remoulade very round and spicy, North Sea crabs at the inevitable cocktail sauce – you can't even get more fantasies, such as a herbal oil lemon crabs and smoked salmon I had always pulled out the plain De Matjes. Otherwise it was good – but no revelation. Dorschfilets 2 pieces on vinegar foam, basil Taglioni, with fresh leaf spinach and three juicy giant carnations – a beautiful combination, the fish tastefully very good, from Gargrad, but slightly beyond the point – should have been a bit more juicy. The noodles al dente, the basil not too intrusive, the shrimps large. Mien Fru was so happy with his little manko. For me there were shell fillets, with very slightly curved North Sea Cancers, with new potatoes. The fish was a poem on which point boiled, juicy, perfect in taste, on the tongue the potatoes were here a side thing... – fantastic! Both main dishes were €19.50. ...and what sweetness to dessert...Freedom, freedom...dadadadaaaa.... Easy Sangria of white peach, with lemon sorbet, with prosecco 9,00€ for females cast – light and tasty... with herbal notes... it was still! I chose a “Falter” thing: Grained fresh strawberries with Grand Marnier and a ball vanilla ice cream – €9.50 delicious interplay of fruity strawberry, light herbs Grand Marnier and sweet dough and vanilla ice cream. A conclusion for leaks J cleanliness: without a tadel – perfect PLV: a good mix calculation – definitely fits a resort service: professional, friendly, very attentive conclusion: an enrichment for the gastronomic scene in Niendorf and a repetition is definitely worth it, therefore 4.5*"

"Short review: Ambiance and operation 4 stars almost perfect, Menu 3 stars is okay, Flamecake and drink 1 star better not ....... The sky is indeed cloudless at the noon of my visit. There's nothing to complain about. But the rest... I'm disappointed; from the newly opened Restaurant Wolkenlos I promised myself more, at least from eating and drinking! But back to the beginning. The location, far outside in or above the Baltic Sea is common. A long bridge leads to the Wolkenlos restaurant, which has a wealth of tables and chairs on the terrace and has an estimated 25 tables of different sizes inside. If you enter the interior of the restaurant, you will find a glass floor that gives you a view of the water. That's something! The tables are made of solid wood, the chairs made of basket braid in combination with polyester covers in best antique leather look. If I had not read the well visible label with the washing instructions in the chair pad seam, I would have held the material for leather. Perfectly done! The window front is completely made of glass, nothing impedes the view of the lake. Wooden pepper and salt shaker, a non-ignited tealight, four dark brown sets, two of which have different spots, are on the table, with a cute in colour-matched, artistically folded napkin bags. The service is quickly available, brings menu and drinks card. The menu consists of a folding small cardboard, the beverage card includes several pages. Food is offered: 5 desserts, 2 x ice cream, 3 different appetizers, a salad, 2 soups, 3 noodle dishes, a pizza, a flame cake, a burger, a curry sausage, a steak and 3 fish dishes. I choose for the “Flammkuchen Alsässer type with delicate ham pieces, onions and crème fraîche at €11.90” and a still water, with the still water not listed on the menu and not on the menu. Quickly the operation is back to place, picks up the order and brings the water in the glass within a few minutes. I'm surprised, it's lt. Mineral and table water regulation not allowed to serve water in the glass! I draw attention to this maladministration, the operation is clearly unpleasantly touched, declares that the restaurant has no storage capacity, the water comes from a water dispenser, mineral water would be processed, Cola, Sprite Co. would not be served in small bottles, everything would be refilled, “for that we simply have no place. If you want water MIT bottle, you need to order a 3⁄4 liter bottle.” Funny, there's room for big bottles, for little ones? All right, I'll take the water, look forward to the flame cake. And then he pulls my mood down! As you can see on the photo, it is on the flame cake of small red pieces... I'm looking for and seduce the cover regular – I can't find any ham, the slices decouple as red onions, very many red onions! After having eaten half of the flame cake, I stumble the sails, let it be good, only Crème fraîche plus onions... ! It may be that a few tiny little hams have actually hidden themselves, I could not see them or taste them at any rate. I ask for the invoice, which is also brought SOFORT, for my satisfaction is probably not asked... Oh yes, on the cash box, the ordered still water is run as “house water 0.3 l to €2.90”. Well, I wanted to sit in the cloudless and look at the Baltic Sea; I did that, ambience and views are really beautiful! Those who also expect de luxe quality in culinary terms as I should expect to be disappointed. .... Yesterday, on 21.9., a few days after my visit, I read in the Lübecker News in a report about the Restaurant Wolkenlos that the restaurant actually does not have a storage room or a cold house... !? Question: where do meat and fish store for the dishes that are on the menu? How can a restaurant of considerable size be cooked without storing or cooling supplies? The chief is quoted in the words: “ In principle, we drive here every day a catering. ‘"
