"first it is great when a restaurant puts a vegan dish on the menu and serves plant-based milk. that deserves a plus! but then we come to the actual court. pizza. it looks delicious. but it is a disappointment. the crust is good. but they understood above all that abandoning the dinge in a vegan pizza. but not only animal products, also all the more crumbled. And this makes a pizza with only tomato sauce, a little sweet cheese, mushrooms, paprika, wobbles and arugula very easy. also the chai latte (to go) was the simplest chai I have ever tasted. a shame. the atmosphere and the ambiente of the place was very good and cozy. also the staff is very nice. it was therefore a disappointment for us that it had not tasted much. hopefully they find the flavor for the next vegan pizza. or think of an additional seasonal as pesto."

"Our guide suggested and ha said that they were rewarded with some kind of price coffee in Bergen, so we came back after our tour and enjoyed our coffee here! We had to have a cinnamon roll, even we had our lunch! My American was nice, the latte for my wife was extraordinary! This small coffee shop seems always busy, we see that many locals are here!"

"Hello, I am a regular customer at Steam, Østbanehallen and I have never experienced such poor service and lack of knowledge as today, 19.10.23. I tend to drink espresso machiatto which the waiter, a young man, obviously didn't know about, even though he said he could make it. Even after my explanation, in English as he doesn't speak Norwegian, he couldn't make it right. I am very disappointed and sincerely hope that this will not happen again. Best regards, Miri B. Ore"

"The 6 short months I had the pleasure of living in Oslo, this was my favorite cafe. It's cozy inside and light and bright for those days of rain and cold, and they also have a charming outdoor brick lined courtyard that shouldn't be missed on those sunny days. The staff is friendly and speaks English very well if you don't speak Norwegian. It gets very busy at lunchtime, but the sandwiches are worth the wait and you can't go wrong with any of the delicious pastries. They also have a rewards card if you'll be in town a while."

"I love this place. eating was also great and quite decent prices. we had coffee and lunch. dirty pommes are good. they would ask the sose next time. rocka smorbrod with shrimp my niee and divided. it was pretty big. pasta diavola had great arome and not disappointed. when they go right from the restaurant, there is a playground for children. the view from here is great."

"Ahh the vegan cinnamon bun was delicious. Lighter and less sugary than a US cinnamon roll. They had a few other vegan items as well, although none were labeled as vegan so just need to askDidn't try the coffee but would definitely recommend trying the bun! There are a few locations throughout Bergen."

"Finally a barista who knows how to handle oat milk. Great coffee and vegan pastries. Wonderful place to get a vegan or vegetarian sandwich. The sourdough bread is amazing, and meat eaters will enjoy the sandwich too. The place is really cozy and they have outdoor seating as well. Daily vegan and vegetarian dish/soup."

"The best vegan restaurant in Norway! Friendly staff, quick service, tasty food and BEST COFFEE IN TROSØ! We ate chia pudding, avocado wrap with and drank coffee lattes with oat milk. Avocado wrap had best sauce and the bread in it was Northern. So delicious! Relaxing atmosphere with a lot of space to sit. Very peaceful and there wasn’t loud noises even tough it’s right in the city centre. The place is located in the city center so it’s easy to go to visit. Prices are reasonable compared to Norway’s prices. Everything was just perfect and so worth of the price! Must visit in Tromsø! Updated from previous review on 2020-07-15"

"We were very surprised to find this sort of organic regional restaurant/store combination in such a small town. This place has such a beautiful conviviality to it and we enjoyed our stay and the food here so much! The food and drink was exceptional and being able to enjoy this really made our day. At the time of our visit vegans have 5 options, vegetarians have 10. (Some dishes can be modified to be vegan/vegetarian. We tried the summer salad (vegetarian version , white veggie pizza and the soup of the day which was carrot soup it was extraordinary! The staff was super friendly and helpful and hosted us with unparalleled kindness. I can hardly express how happy we are to have stumbled upon this little special place."
