"Eat and the atmosphere are really beautiful and great. the area is in the rule for the Norwegian style in the wood interior. it is clear from the restaurant about good eating and beautiful north decoration to see. the music is pop music with young style. the menu has different types of food, including Norwegian seafood, fish, cadry, salmon, Thai species of food and others. for the Thai rührnudel, I can't say that it tastes like me in Thailand, but it's still good, asian food in Norwegian chain restaurant in europa. there is a hotel next to him. the location is not so far from the city center. it is walkable away from the city center. the harbour is located right in front of the restaurant. eating that I had, is codfish in tomato sauce style, which is often seen in Norwegian. I like this kitchen with light and slightly sour food. it is recommended to try this common eating in egon with a reasonable price in this beautiful sweet restaurant."

"often when I'm in Kristiansand, my wife wants to eat here because of her preciousness. but I find egon very overrated. the pizza is the best medium. the pasta is always too salt, the meat is leathery and the sauce is boring. the prices for beer and wein are crazy. nok 130, for 25 cl white wine or 92, for 0.3 cl carlsberg is completely above the upper imho. the personel is generally friendly, but the 3 star rating is due to the cheekyness, otherwise it would have been less. - update jan. 2022: okay, I have to go to 4th, the crust was much better this time, but still no master cook."

"Good, Average sushi. Fun fact, in Japan, 5 feet human, BIGGER sushi pieces that has a dense level of fish top. In here, top world human heights, sushi bites fit for kids. Over price, 315nok for a normal 16 bites sushi dish, because it has a scoop of tasteless kaviar eggs. Remove the kaviar, it's a ranked 180nok plate for me, not included VAT. Overall details: Staff was educated, kind and care, introduced what's in my bites, and came to ask if its ok. Quick food arrive. Good place to take a date to, and to invite a small family 4-8. Cozy. "I took a snapshot of the menu that was presented and written in charge of the black board from the sidewalk, and when I came in or offered a menu that was a lot simpler and a lot more you’re in selections what I asked the server why she said that the menu were given dozen overstress the limited labor resources of the kitchen As recommended I wound up getting what is an affective beef stroganoff, which is a sour cream, bass and sirloin beef sauce, very minimal with the pasta being under done al dente and not very good quality I noticed the pizza for one of my other dining friends, and Rust seem like it was under cooked white bread that was thin This was mediocre. Food meant to keep your food cost down, and they keep your labor cost down. I would recommend to anyone not to come in in the large group because you’ll be short change in your selection and food quality. I might come back to try something which is more than -5 dining. I do know that you do not offer ravioli or other, but the cheapest easiest to prepare Italian pasta dishes even in your extended menu"

"Had a birthday party there yesterday and the Paella was super salty and over BURNT. We complaint and the manager/waitress did not came back with any respond. What a 'service. ' Some of us got diarrhea after that after eating their seafood. Over priced for the amount of food to be shared. Not worth at all and all of us would never come here again."

"Their vegan burrito is really tasty and super filling! They also sell mexican sodas, I think they are called Jarritos. They do take away as well and orders are often done within 10 minutes. Staff is really nice and helpful with informing us about the vegan options! It is however a bit pricey, as most things in Norway are."

"I have had a lot of sushi from most corners of the earth, this Asian fusion blew my expectations out of the water. We attempted to go here twice while visiting Bergen, so if you are looking for dinner…make a reservation. We went for a late lunch and ordered three rolls and one poke bowl. We ordered the Dirty Tempura Maki (the OG fusion roll) topped with sweet potato fries. What is not to love?! I also ordered the Morudoba Sake roll that has a deep fried peanut crust served with chili mayo. Finally, my favorite was the Golden Gate, a deep fried salmon roll with cream cheese, sriracha and paprika. It had the most beautiful golden coloring on top. We also ordered the Spicy Korean poke bowl, which was delicious but just a typical poke bowl. If you are eating here, order the unique rolls you won’t find anywhere else."

"For the first time in Norway and happy to have found this café on Google maps and with really well written reviews and pictures. With my husband, we met the omelet and fish soup with coffee and ice cream. They would think the food looks inevitable, but it is well seasoned enough to feel that it is balanced. The Omelet is very soft, but cooked, vegetables and the soft bread with crispy crust helps to fill the meal. Fish soup is creamy with some salty taste, diving the bread provided and enjoy. The coffee has no sugar and it really doesn't need it unless you like it sweeter. Coffee tastes much smoother and I don't feel as exhausting or bitter as in Singapore. Friendly owner, great service. Don't come here if you're in a hurry because the food needs time to cook. Prices are not different than in Singapore. Good food, can wait."

"This is an atmospheric, welcoming option for Italian food in the heart of Oslo. I actually went the route of having the traditional spaghetti (the Marinara Meat Balls option on their menu) and it was outstanding. "I’m upvoting this a bit, but the service has been impeccable. We got two entrees, both were good (not getting into Michelin anytime soon, but edible). I haven’t compared to other prices locally, but I’d say it’s a smidge on the high side (comparing to Bergen, for instance). Food quality was pretty good definitely didn’t hate anything. I have low expectations for chain hotels usually, but this was good. I’ve come back to restaurants like this at home and been happy. The staff was friendly and attentive, plus the food was good. No complaints!"

"We had a mooseburger and an omelet with sides. The weather was rainy and cold, so we also had coffee and latte. Food arrived fairly quickly, and the service was friendly, with a smile. The patty in the burger was OK, nice and meaty (moose contains very little fat , the rest (buns etc. and sides was a sad display, with the price in mind. Omelet was okay, with bits of cheese in, no doubt that it’s the cheap kind of cheese though. Coffee was the automated machine type, which is okay. But you know the flavor is missing ; Bistro food, in and out. Pricy, but hey its Norway ;"
