"A must visit : Blausee Hotel Restaurant, Switzerland Note: This is my experience and review of my travel, the property and the restaurant itself. I went there for half a day trip. My travel to blausse started with a quick 20 minute train ride from Spiez (my starting point) to Frutigen followed by a 30 minute bus journey. The Blausee hotel property sits right in the midst of the beautiful Blausee lake surrounded by valley. In case you are not staying overnight, a small entry fee is charged which is reimbursed if you have a reservation for dinner at the restaurant. I entered the property around 4:30pm. Everything is great, gladly again! The staff is particularly nice and accommodating!

Magical place. We stayed in a magnificent suite room in the chalet, with a view of the lake. The only downside in our eyes was too long a wait for the evening meal and excessive prices!
