"We're from Salem and in Coos Bay for a couple days, and attracted to Blue Heron by the large menu on the website. I normally go for seafood when on the coast, but was drawn to the the cordon blue Schnitzel...and not disappointed. A large portion, half of which will become tomorrow's lunch or dinner. My wife went with the grilled salmon and thought it was excellent. Two great dishes. We normally forgo dessert, but the freshly baked cakes in the display were too temping. What an incredible, one-of-a-kind culinary adventure nestled in the charming town of Coos Bay, Oregon! By sheer serendipity, we happened upon the enchanting Blue Haron Bistro during our leisurely drive. As a devoted fan of German cuisine, we couldn't resist the temptation to return for a delightful dinner. And oh, what a delight it was!
