"It is what it is and we visited on Valentine's. This was our second visit. Asian influenced menu but definitely a Korean e.g., spicy) flair. Not much on menu for the non-pork, non-spicy crowd but what they do with pork and spicy was very tasty. Tuna with hot pepper appetizer was excellent and I actually had the pub burger with egg) that was outstanding. Some bona fide fish/seafood options would expand our chance of coming back my non-pork, non-spicy date). Atmosphere is okay. Bar is great but rest of space feels like cold/drafty basement which it is). Try some flooring/carpeting to warm it up some. I would go back but need to convince my steady date as we are in south wedge 2x per week."

We had a reservation for Valentine's Day. As expected they were quite busy, but we didn't think that detracted from the experience at all. The booth felt private. The hostess was very friendly and very helpful at explaining the menu. The food was delicious. We had a great experience.

My boyfriend and I were in Rochester for his birthday and wanted to try something new and unique. The restaurant itself had great atmosphere. Normally I hate live music because it's always too loud. This place had it at the perfect level, you could hear your date, the music, and yourself think so it wasn't overwhelming. The food was outstanding, we tried the wings, which we were both blown away by. The poutine fries, pub burger, and chicken fried sandwich, all excellent choices. Lastly our waitress Tria, did a great job ! We will absolutely be returning and recommending ButaPub !

Second time back with in a month. We can 't get enough ! This time we had Rachel for our server and she did an excellent job. I went for the fish chips because it came with a mushy pea, unfortunately I did not receive the mushy pea part of my dish but I didn 't say anything so its a was, I was more looking forward to that side for memories it brought but my dish was perfect with out it too. It is worth giving the cocktail Don 't feed him past midnight, name could be chopped, a try, I really enjoyed mine! We will be coming back, love and recommend this place to anyone who will listen
