"We live on Long Island, NY and we have three German restaurants within 14 miles of us.But none of those restaurant’s German food comes anywhere close to the quality the Octoberfest dinners Charlies Café offered us.The food was just delicious. Absolutely the best potato pancakes I have ever tasted. And the red cabbage was freshly made, not something preprocessed.My Pork Schnitzel was crisp and tasty and my wife raved about her Stuffed Cabbage. I tasted it and it wasn’t the standard dull, mild meal so common everywhere else but had a tasty flavor to it.We were here in Elmira just one night and totally glad we visited Charlies Café."

Charlie's Cafe catered our 50th wedding anniversary party for 10 and the food was excellent and so elegant! It was the day after New Years when most restaurants take time off. Instead, Charlie's prepared a delicious prime rib and lobster tail meal with all the accompaniments and had it ready on time for pick up. We can't thank them enough for making a very special occasion perfect in spite of the current conditions!
