"Decided to order from here for the first time, delivery. Food arrived on time but wasn't exactly what I had expected. Sure it was flavorful, but when I've ordered biryani from other places, it generally had more than just rice, seasoning and the protein. This calamari biryani had nothing but the seasoned rice, a few almond slivers, and sixish calamari rings. I had also ordered the mushroom mattar, but when it arrived, all I got was a container full of sauce, three-ish scoops of peas and a few blocks of very firm tofu. Clay Oven has delicious food and great customer service. Their chai tea is wonderful and always offered while waiting for a to go order. It is a great restaurant and I can't say enough good things about it.Food: 5/5

I ordered 4 items but I received 3 items instead of 4 items. And I called back when I saw my order wasn’t complete and the guy picked up the phone and I explained the situation but he was repeating the same 4 items that I order. And one of my order was garlic naan but it was all burned. It was around 4:17PM.Food: 2/5

Clay oven in West Portal is our go to if we're craving for authentic Indian food. Its close to my work so I'm always tempted to eat here. Our faves are Tikka Masala, Butter chicken, tandoori chicken and lamb and much more. The staff are nice and friendly. We even got complimentary dessert twice now. The price is reasonable. Love, love this place!
