"This was my first time at Steak and Stein, but I have dined at the other Clearman's restaurants frequently in the past. The menu contains many items found at the North Woods Inns and many that are not. The scallops were as good as the sister restaurants as was the baked potato and the cheese bread and the salads. There were many more steak choices and dessert offerings. The staff was friendly and helpful. With peanuts no shells on the floor a cocktail, an appetizer, salads, cheese bread, a combination steak and scallop dinner and Bananas Foster, my date and I found much food to bring home for another night"

Once again the service and food were outstanding. A wonderful treasure I am glad is still thriving. Same delicious food with bright and friendly waiters. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much

Great to be able to make reservation thru Open Table. Staff is very attentive in bar dining room especially our waitress Wendy. Lobster was superb steaks were delicious. The bread is addictive the salads yummy. The prices are reasonable but a bit pricey to enjoy more often, but will definitely return

"We last came to this restaurant 15 years ago and boy has it changed not for the better , before it was very much the Rat Pack vibe of a traditional steakhouse we sat in a booth and has wonderful experienced waiters. This time there was almost a shove it in your face rat pack experience the music of the era was everywhere it was a little self conscious. This time we were sat in an annex no booth , that was built 10 years ago. There were a lot of waiters they were sloppy in the way they tended to us . We had the ahi tower which was very good , my martini was also excellent , next came the caesar salad made at the table the worst I have ever eaten I expect romaine and a somewhat creamy dressing this was iceberg lettuce and a very vinegary Italian type dressing for $34 that was a big rip off. The filet mignon was acceptable nothing special , the french fries were terrible soggy. I would not visit again and worst of all it was for my husbands birthday should have gone to Flemings or Arroyo Chop House."

"the food seems somewhat overpriced and given in small quantities. I and my father went a few days ago in the night at night to eat something, ordered the chili cheeseries and a burger. the big bowl of the fries seemed small, but we thought it was stacked, we were wrong to suspect that, as it was quite small. I will say that the burger was a decent size, but the prices still overpriced, the inner was quite clean and tidy."

"The Super Burrito Vegetariano and Torta Vegetariano were both delicious. Our only complaints are that the guacamole was not spread out but lumped on one end, the Torta bread was not as well-toasted as the last time, and the 2 orders of beans were missing. The delivery was fast and updates as to the status of the order kept us informed as to the expected delivery time."

"This is one of my favorite hole-in-a-wall restaurant in Montebello. They serve delicious Mediterranean food, it always taste fresh and the portions are generous. This place never disappoints. We like to get the lamb, chicken and beef kabob with pilaf rice and mashed potatoes. We also get the Armenian salad and it’s one of my absolute favorite. The dressing is super simple and the flavor is so fresh and crunchy (cucumbers). Love that this place has great service and they serve the food fairly quickly. Can accommodate large groups easily as the restaurant is huge on the inside."

"Had a wonderful lunch of Ribeye Steak, Cheese Toast and Onion Rings. Not only was the food fabulous, the service is outstanding. I also had an interesting conversation with Steve the owner about the restaurant’s origins and the original owner. “Steve Says” definitely a great restaurant and value!
