"beautiful location with views of the river, but the ac was outside and it was very warm in the dining room. it doesn't make fun how to sweat crazy while trying to enjoy a cozy meal. my fried oysters were top notch, but the children ordered their burger mes rare and they were well cooked. table bread cup was heavenly. they're rolling!"

the only thing that was good were the fried green tomatoes. my weinglas was around the rock dirty (lipstick). not mine! my steak was over boiled and my potato was boiled. that was nice, but that was not good.

our server, amanda, was excellent. tomaten bisque, schweinestall, country club squash, brot were unforgettable. the location is beautiful. this is our fourth visit and will return. the cypress inn is our must-visit restaurant when we are in tuscaloosa.
