"When we arrived, they informed us that they were out of sushi rice, so they couldn’t make any sushi rolls. Totally fine, and not their fault. There was plenty of other tasty looking dishes on the menu, so we stayed. We were so disappointed!The sushi nachos had a terrible fish/chip ratio. The carne asada tacos were just… wrong. They didn’t have much flavor, and came out cold, despite the rice on the plate being piping hot. The ramen was just okay. I’ve made better ramen in my college dorm room. We had crispy pork gyoza, and crunchy shrimp tempura. Yum! The place was packed, the staff was hustling, people were waiting to get in. We were lucky to get two seats at the counter. We’ll get sushi next time when it’s not so busy.
