"We went to Basel for lunch. We were passing this trattoria and DH offered to have an Italian lunch. The Wednesday menu consisted of 3 different dishes we could choose plus appetiser. DH chose a calf and potatoes dish and I did some pasta with tomato sauce and Italian sausage and our meal was teamed with Chianti, of course. We also took home made Tiramisu, it was delicious. The trattoria is small but very cosy. The staff is friendly and attentive. Actually the meal was simple but very tasty. Worth visiting again."

"my second time here after 4 years and still the best culinary experience and favorite restaurant in the world! I can just write a paper about any court I had, but I don't want to spoil the funny adventure for them. but what I can tell them is that every bite they take from a single refined dish gives them another experience in running the time. the service was impeccable with about 7 employees who only serve 10 tables throughout the night. will be visited again in Switzerland next time. I propose to book at least one month early in the evening. visit at least half an hour earlier the view of the Rhine with some wine on the terrace. simply go with their complete tasting menu and enjoy 3 hours of amazing food. afterwards they can return to the terrace to enjoy a coffee."

"This is a very friendly team. Chefs, waiters and leaders seem to be able to work very well together and even when there is a lot going on, they seem calm. They do it really well and we really enjoy eating on the ship. The food is always a culinary delight. So far we haven't had anything that we didn't like. Our children love the homemade pizza rolls. Where they can grab one and two, even if we're just picking up our pizza. They create a very nice feel-good atmosphere"

"I went to this restaurant like I go to a museum with the interest of discovering a foreign world. It's the world of my childhood which I'm glad burned. The large room is paneled with dark wood, there are geraniums on the terrace, and Aromat and liquid seasoning (not Maggi) are on the table as always. The vegetable rösti was good, although the portion was far too small. Whether frozen vegetables really have to be used in such museum style restaurants probably so. It doesn't matter, the hash browns and vegetables were tasty. The open beer was fresh and also tasted very good. A real ray of hope in this post war wasteland was the waiter, who although he spoke perfect Basel German and had a typically Swiss friendliness was recognizable as a secondo. The price was lower midrange and okay for once. The toilets worked."
